Had an amazing meal on Friday! Love that you can walk around and actually look at the wine and pick out what you want. The system they have set up makes it less expensive and gives you a chance to try new things. The service was great & the caviar with the chips…amazing.

Went to a private dinner here the other evening and wasn’t sure what to expect. Wow! Did they know their stuff! They clearly love food and wine and care about the preservation of the Old Market as well as historical facts and the arts!

The ONE Best Dish
Summary: good beef nicely cooked and tender but too acid sauce covering the nice taste of the beef; nice interior and great service; might give it another try

The steak tartare was to die for, and don’t pass on the duck. I truly enjoyed picking out a bottle of wine next door that was reasonably priced that paired perfect with our meal.

Beautiful restaurant, the rotisserie chicken was amazing. You should try the creme brulee, it was delicious. Every thing was cook to perfection. I highly recommend this place. Please you should visit this restaurant if you are in city.

This was a very good restaurant. The rotisserie chicken had a wonderful buttery quality to it. There was someone on the corner playing music. And of course, what could be better than creme brulee?

Stopped here for dinner before a show at the Orpheum. It was a weekday so not busy at all, service was excellent. Chicken liver PB&J was recommended and didn’t disappoint. It’s a very unique canape to start the meal with. We also shared a French Onion soup that was tasty but a little saltier than I prefer. I’m not going to fault the restaurant for my preference. Both meals were excellent and we both agreed we would have been happy with either meal. She ordered a hanger steak with root vegetable au gratin which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The root vegetable au gratin was extra tasty! Chicken Roulade was almost like comfort food with a garden pea, pearl onion, cabbage & pancetta gravy. We were both too full for dessert but enjoyed an espresso after the meal. While not our favorite French restaurant in town, we definitely left happy.

The food was good and the service was nice. My main complaint, we were a table of four and ordered three appetizers and main courses. The tables are too small for actual food and drinks and when we asked to get bigger table or bring another table together we were told no. In the entire establishment there were only two tables filled (ours and one more). I would have understood if they were busy but there was literally no one in the restaurant. Their option for us was to move our drink to the sculpture ledge so we had to keep getting up and down to get our waters. Also, the entrees took a surprisingly long time to come out considering no one was really in the restaurant. I imagine the setting would work for just drinks but if you’re looking to be comfortable at your table and try multiple items, perhaps try another place

We went with friends for our wedding anniversary. Service was bad. When my wife complained about the the taste of her hanger steak. She was told it was a different flavor because it came from close to the liver. At the time we were leaving the server came to table and said “ wanted you to know. We tasted in back and it tasted good.” Everyone at our table will never go or recommend going here. I wish there was a half star!
