Absolutely fantastic experience at this gem in Kingston. Yvonne, the hostess, our bartender Brian, and owner John – all great people. And the food – wow! Maybe the best endive salad ever? And a truly excellent steak, perfectly prepared (great to split) with garlic-herb compound butter. Can’t recommend enough.

This is my third time here. It’s amazing! The food is unmatched anywhere within a 150 mile radius. I dine out for work very often 2-3 times per week. This place is a treat.

It is a good place but I am a little disappointed by the food. The goat salad is good but the block on cheese on the top is “interesting”… The snail are not the “french” way, missing the shell – lamb was okay.

It’s a really great place! I went there for my wedding anniversary and people were very friendly and nice. I got bread and fresh butter first and the butter was so fresh and savory and I ordered garlic snails, half duck with berry sauce, creme brûlée. Every single dish was awesome and well cooked. After finishing meal I also ordered hot americano and it was very delicious too. I really recommend here for any kind of meal plan.

Lunch was great! The food cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding. I’ve been customer for over 20 years and highly recommend this establishment. I’ll be back for dinner when parking is not such a problem.

As you’d expect at a traditional French bistro, the food here is pretty heavy & pricey overall. Service was friendly & great. The interior could use a refresh–they keep the lights low so it’s hard to see, but I’d wager this place hasn’t seen redecoration or deep cleaning since the 80s!

We were there on MLK holiday where many retails and Restaurants close that day. Also not so many people. The restaurant is big and have around 4-5 section dining room.

Upon entering the restaurant we were not greeted for a very long time. I had to get attention of the barman, who pointed us to the direction of our table, not walking with us. Fortunately our waitress made up for this ignorance.

We stopped into Kingston for the night. Decided to try this find based on the reviews. Everything was perfect. From the sweet and friendly maitre’d, fabulous service from our waiter Dan, to the food, atmosphere, ambiance. Our experience was much more than we expected. Try the salad with goat cheese. Mussels or swordfish for entree.

Atmosphere is great, but food and service were subpar. We went for lunch, but were handed the more expensive dinner menus. When we requested the lunch menu, the waiter dismissively named two options and walked off. We had to really press him to give it to us. The soup of the day was wonderful, but the salad niçoise was unimpressive, with wilted, rotten greens and over-cooked tuna. Overall, the food was not worth the price, by a long shot.
