We had reservations for 7:30 but arrived early and was seated immediately. Inside is very small and fits roughly 2 6 tops and a few bar seats. The interior color is red with mirrors on the walls and could use a little updating.

Very nice restaurant serving a variety of food including streak, seafood, ribs, etc… the service was FANTASTIC (thanks Greg!) and the food was great. There was a hiccup with my filet not being cooked to order (came out too rare) but Greg took care of it quickly and efficiently.

We were three ladies that got there late because we are working women. This restaurant was the perfect place to end a long work week. The reason we ended up there from north county is we used to go to Calypso, which the owner closed and opened this place, I heard through the grapevine.

Yikes.. always wanted to try this place and finally got around to it. Went for brunch on a Sunday just after 11:00. Restaurant was about 20%. Service was fine, pleasant, but kinda slow. The food and drinks were pretty bad. Watered down, unoriginal cocktails served in jars. The omelet on a croissant was just that. An omelet on a croissant… Eggs, made with bacon on a dry croissant. Absolutely no flavor. The eggs Benedict were pretty plain and didn’t get finished. All in all, $55 for something you could have gotten at Denny’s for half the price.

Had our friends birthday here last night and was great the whole night through! They reserved and set up our table with flowers and checked on us the whole time we were there. Our server was a gentleman and made sure we were enjoying our food. The wonderful lady that helped us set everything up was just so nice and helpful! Don’t get me started on the food!! It was delicious and even had enough for left overs! If I could rate 10 stars I would! Really really enjoyed this restaurant!!

Le Citron is an excellent find in oceanside! The food was excellent, and the service was really something special. Ingrid was our server and was wonderful. We had a number of tapas for the table and they were all perfect. Highly recommend the hummus, fried calamari, and brie en croute. We also tried their sangria with watermelon which was unique and refreshing. I would try this place while it’s new, because I think given some time it could become much more crowded.

Very disappointing! We had been there a couple of years ago and had really enjoyed our dinner. This time the service was slow – we waited half an hour for our appetizer (Brie en croute) and when it arrived it was a pastry shell with no brie inside. The replacement had a little more cheese inside, but it was not as stuffed as on our previous visit. My husband’s French Dip was very salty and he said the bread was not very soft. My flatbread was fine, though the edges were too crunchy for my liking.

Excellent find in Oceanside, all dishes were fabulous. Chicken tahini, seafood paella, fillet mignon, roasted mushrooms were exceptionally good, Laurie our server was a great addition to the mix, great people skills, pleasant and efficient. The food was as good as having it in the country of origin, if it wasn’t for the loud motorcycles you would not know that you were in California. Great place for a very savory and relaxing meal. Will definitely be returning.
