We came on Bastille Day. They were offering a show that day along with dinner. While we had made a reservation, when we arrived, they wouldn’t seat us because they said they didn’t have any tables as their customers refused to leave even after being in the restaurant for over 2 hours. They said their was nothing they could do. We had to wait for a table to open up. After 10 minutes, we were offered a table that was not within view of the show and near the services doors. We asked to be moved as soon as a table opened up. After not. After not being served or addressed after sitting there for 20 minutes. We noticed an open table and got up and moved ourselves. Finally after being seated there for 5 minutes, someone asked us for our order, but not before asking how we were seated at this table. We arrived near 8:30 pm and getting get our food until after 10 pm. We were told the kitchen was backed up due to private parties. I begged them to at least give us the bread we ordered (which cost $7). They said they’d try. About 10 min later we at least got bread. I understand it was a busy night, I give them that. However, the way they handled their customer service was extremely lacking by the hosts. I’ve frequently come to this restaurant and even hosted company larties here, but I won’t be back. The food is some of the nest French food in Los Angeles though. So if you don’t mind the terrible hosts, the lack of care around a reservation, I’d recommend this place. Our servers made an effort though given what they were dealing with again once we were seated in an area they could see us. Definitely don’t go there on first or second dates if you’re aiming to impress your date. Do get the pasta with a show, they bring out a wheel of parmesan and mix the pasta in front of you.

We went for Bastille day so we figured it would be busy. The show was amazing. Unfortunately, the service was subpar at best- the servers were all running around very unorganized and it all just felt chaotic. We were there for about an hour before my soup appetizer arrived. It was delicious but should not have taken an hour. Just over 2 hours later, the food never arrived so we asked for the check. The server gave us a poor excuse blaming the show but in reality the show might block the stairs for 5-10 minutes, the kitchen can continue to operate. The server had kind of a bad attitude about the whole thing, which I understand she was probably dealing with a lot but still….for the price, I expect at minimum excellent service. Would not go back.

Came here to celebrate Bastille Day. Not sure if it was busier than usual or if it’s always this busy.

Food was delicious. I had lemon linguine and pasta was al dente and sauce was perfect, not too strong and not too creamy. I also had truffle fries which were thin cut and nice to include truffle shavings. I has crème brûlée for desert which was delicious. The serving dish for it was a little thin which I didn’t like but the crème itself was great and a good texture and the sugar wasn’t burned too much which was nice. Overall a great experience for my friends birthday. I would go back

We had a memorable and wonderful experience. Food is excellent. Service is superb. We would definitely come back. My fave dessert is pineapple ravioli. Off course, the star of the meal is the Cognac Flambéed Truffle pasta. So yummy!

Went here for dinner with my husband, very early at 5:30. Not too many diners at that hour. By 7 it was a full house. The restaurant is so pretty, spacious, a combination of classic and modern and hip. The patio is fresh and relaxing and pretty. Up Stairs is nice for larger parties. The service was excellent. The food was so fresh and delicious. We had the octopus-yummy, the ceviche, the cheese platter, the Margherita pizza and lemon tarte. All of it was delicious. The music was jazzy. I loved everything about the restaurant.

This is an upscale restaurant with amazing dining room and decorations but as far as food.. very unreasonably high prices for low grade food.. very small tiny portions.. they have great service.. so if you’re the kind of the person that just want to enjoy the upscale dining room vibes and decorations and if you don’t mind to spend higher prices for an average food with small tiny portions than this is your restaurant by all means.. Lol .. as far as my experience here for the first time and probably the only time.. i will definitely not recommend Le Petit Paris for a casual dining experience.. ohhh and before i forgot.. since this restaurant is located in the heart of downtown LA the parking situation is horrible.. this restaurant only offers valet parking so be ready to pay about $20 for your car to be parked since they don’t have parking and even if you try to park your car somewhere else near by you will end up paying any where from $15 to $25 for your parking.. hope this review will be helpful to all of you deciding on dining here…

Had a wonderful time at this place. Everyone from the reception to waiter were exceedingly polite and friendly. They would cater to even the request such as changing locations once seated and made us feel welcome. The food was definitely a delight to all this. My fav of all, would be Pineapple ravioli dessert. Would definitely go back.
