I’d heard good things about Leavitt & Sons so was excited to get a chance to try them. Honestly, I was disappointed. I got the Caprese Sandwich and while it had a nice thick slice of fresh mozzarella, there wasn’t much flavor to the sandwich. There was very little balsamic vinaigrette on the sandwich, and just one slice of tomato. Given that caprese was in the sandwich name, I expected some pesto or basil flavor. The bread was soft, but not like a Ciabatta roll that I was hoping for. Especially for $11, it wasn’t worth it. Maybe it was an off day for them, but Town Landing Market and Clayton’s are nearby, so I won’t bother getting sandwiches here again.

It’s really sad to see these reviews go downhill. It used to be a great place. I got the Menario today which is usually pretty beefy. A couple scraps of capacola, one slice of Genoa and not even any provolone. I had to go back in to get it.

Got the Italian a few months ago and it had strips of plastic in it- someone clearly didn’t take the plastic wrap off meat before slicing it. Sandwich was inedible since plastic was all wrapped up in the meat and trying to take out every little piece the whole sandwich fell apart. I called to get a refund since it’s a $17 sandwich. Didn’t give me a refund but said they owed me a free sandwich which I got a week later and it was fine. Went in again today to get the Italian and once again had strips of plastic in it. No longer going to risk going here as it’s overpriced and will likely have plastic in it if it’s a deli meat sandwich.

Welcoming, local, good quality. In addition to the deli case, sandwiches and soft drinks, there is also a selection of bottled wine ! Really kind staff.

Almost no seating indoors but if it’s a nice day there are 5 picnic tables outside. They use all Boars Head meats and cheeses and good ingredients to make a nice sandwich. Good selection of beverages. Service was very nice and food was ready quickly. Very tasty.

Pass. I ordered a salad. And most of the lettuce was severely wilted, the ends were brownes, and in many spots I straight up had to remove just black spots of rotten lettuce. If they are willing to offer this as a salad, imagine the lettuce that makes it into your sandwich. No thanks.

It’s just genuinely not good food. Edit. To reply to below. I guess I don’t like Bores Head. It tastes like grocery store deli meat? I have had three sandwiches from here now and the best was an LS (I think) and that was because of the sauce and fresh onion. The meat is definitely the biggest issue, the other ingredients were fresh and tasted good.

Sandwiches were great. Layout not clear to first time visitors but staff was very good. Could use some mini wine bottles.

I’ve been here two times. The first time, I didn’t think it could get any better. When I went again, I realized how wrong I was. This place is, hands down, the BEST. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!
