I was going to Panda Express but saw this restaurant was closer and similar so I gave it a try. Even with prepared lower expectations for airport food, this restaurant still managed to disappoint us.

I give 4 stars with the caveat that it is a pretty good option in the airport context. I fly out of the MSP airport regularly. It hosts many eating establishments. Many are really expense for what you get. I was pleasantly surprised to find Leanne Chins by Concourse D and C is affordable and the food is decent. I got a pick 2 entrees with fried rice. It cost $10.25. I got the sesame chicken – which was tasty. I also got the Thai Chili chicken, which was pretty standard. They offer comfortable seating in a relaxed atmosphere. Drinks are all bottled – except for drinks from their bar which is attached to the space. The staff was helpful, though not particularly friendly nor unfriendly – just doing their job. The venue was clean and well lit. All things considered, I’m sure I’ll stop back in on future trips.

Great open bar at the start of the C gates. Staff was helpful, friendly, and chatted for a bit while I enjoyed my meal. Huge perk: they have full 20oz glasses on draught. The local Summit is perfect for the day.

I love the choices of Leann Chin. Yes it is fast food and it’s a bit oily and generous w salt but it tastes good especially when the airport food is not great with few choices. I enjoy this place more than Panda Express because of the vegetarian/pescatarian options and I had a solid 3: tofu, shrimp, mixed veges in garlic (they also had string beans). It’s was $11.90 for 3 items plus rice or noodles included. A great deal. I enjoyed eating this a lot while waiting for my flight. I will definitely return bc it’s hard to find a range of good Chinese food in MN and ND and the surrounding areas. But Leann’s is definitely fun and good tasting.

Great choice for really great food and excellent service. We visted on 8/22/23 and the 2 team members at the counter worked wonderfully together, manager material for sure. The meals were affordable and the noodles are yummy!

We typically like our local franchise, but this airport location not so much. Food was old, stale, and super salty and oily. Neither of us could finish eating. They charge an additional 4.5% “hospitality” fee even on takeout that is not in any sign nor advertised anywhere before you pay, but then shows up on your receipt. Moveable signs block one entrance and there is not enough room for the luggage, so it’s hard to move around with your luggage past the ordering line.

For food that costs me $11, yall need to work on the portion of rice and noodles. This is nothing. You only get stars because of the management, your employees need better manners.

The portions were small, the price was high, and the food itself was heavy with grease and sugary sauce. This is the kind of low-quality and low-effort airport food that would only have been passable 20 years ago. If you want quick Chinese food, do yourself a favor and walk 3 minutes to the Panda Express in Concourse F.

This has to be the worst chinese food I have ever eaten. I had quick layover and not much time. It was the closest I had to my gate. Their noodles are awful. They feel old and nasty. All the other side were ok, bit too salty.

I’m giving it 4 stars for flavor but today I hated the hard vegetables and even hard chicken!!! Hard veggies are a pet peeve of mine because when they have been sauteed and have had a chance to seat for a while in a sauce, they should NOT have the consistency of RAW! So that was both the broccoli on the beef broccoli as well as the carrots with the coconut curry and with the curry btw, few pieces of chicken were also hard. So by time I got rid of broccoli, carrots and half harden chicken I ended up still HUNGRY!
