Had a good lunch experience. They weren’t too busy, the service was solid, and the kitchen staff was getting it done quickly. The lighting could be a bit brighter but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I think they are under new management since last time I was in. Not perfect but I was satisfied with my visit overall. The staff is very polite and respectful.

Very friendly staff. The food was served hot and was delicious. The sizzling rice supe was awesome. One of my favorites. The beef with broccoli was good too. You must try there jasmine sweet tea. It grows on you. Overall a great place to have dinner or lunch.

Today I tried the almond chicken with white rice, and once again I was pleasantly surprised as to amount of vegetables and chicken, the sauce had just a little sweet taste to it ..the service is just as great as the food…. if you have not been here or it’s been awhile and you want something that’s hot fresh and wonderful tasting. Than this is the place

First off the only thing we liked was the hot chili paste we asked for, the jasmine iced tea and the fried wonton strips. Service was slow for drinks and ordering, looked like they were working more for the take out orders. The waitress warned us that chow mein really wasn’t noodles, and yeah, it was the crunchy grocery store chow mein sprinkled on the plate with the entree(mostly fried cabbage) slopped on top. Just Google “chow mein” and you get dishes that use the thin, fried wheat noodles we were expecting. The black mushroom chicken was cooked with the preserved Chinese mushrooms(fine) but some of the baby corn tasted old, stopped eating that. The dining room was not pleasant to sit in, a bit warm, not so clean, springs broken in the booth and that light above my head was flickering with quite an annoying frequency…..ready to just take out the lightbulb myself and the bathroom was not very clean(my poor plus one informed me). It’s gonna be a nope for any future visit here, sorry.

The restaurant is clean and service is excellent. But this is not an authentic Chinese restaurant at all. The food does not taste fresh. It tastes like everything is precooked with ingredients you get in the Asian aisle from your local supermarket and then heated up. The best things we ate were the white rice and the fortune cookies. Bathrooms are clean, but HOT. If you want decent Chinese, keep looking.

Tantalizing to the tastebuds with a menu that is hard to beat! Food is always hot and full of flavor. My favorite is Hot Bean Curd and it is hard to find in other restaurants. Lee’s Chinese is sure to please.

This is the third or fourth time that I have been to this restaurant. All my experiences are basically the same.

Got the Chowmain. Very low quality consisting of mostly celery and some onion, carets and lettuce. Some meat. It had the cheapest vegetables it could be made with and the sauce did not have alot of flavor. My opinion is the food was not good. I will find another restaurant when I am in the mood for Chinese. Also the fried rice was the worst I have ever had.

I ordered general TSO chicken and it was not good, very sweet sauce poured over extremely hard to chew chicken pieces with peanuts. I don’t recommend it at all. Service was great but the food is not Chinese food. It’s just thrown together.

It is with a broken heart that I write this review. For 30+ years I have stopped at Lee’s while passing through Texarkana. I’ve bragged that it is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. This last visit was different. Everything about the visit said to me that they have given up. General upkeep of the restaurant has dropped off enormously. The food was unremarkable and a bit bland. Only one waitress because almost no customers on a Friday night. I’ll still have memories of some great meals here though.
