4 years ago I left this 5 star review as we had never had a bad experience here. Today that has changed. I ordered 5 meals and 1 bowl. All the meals were correct however one of them had the smallest chicken leg and thigh I think I have ever seen and it was so overcooked it was almost burnt. Way overcooked biscuit, and such a small amout of side dishes that it could have been mistaken for a kids meal. Very disappointed, not at all worth the $8 price tag.

Lee’s Famous Recipe was my favorite place to get chicken or dinner for my family. We got dry chicken,no biscuits, 14 minutes waiting on mushed potatoes, etc.

Stingy on the green beans which is cheapest thing. Chicken pieces small too. I got a breast and 2 legs. Which was up charged for white meat. Next time getting 2 breast since so small. Went on Wednesday which is supposed to be a sale day paid at least 8.00 for meal. I been noticing it’s not nearly as busy on Wednesday like it used to be so not the only one who thinks went downhill and cost more.

Half of the chicken was burnt and had been sitting out for awhile. Person who took my order didn’t get my drink order which I can understand can happen at times but when I told them at the window I would please like to order a drink they stared at me and said “really”. Seriously what was that about!! I’m from out of town and always rave about Lee’s in Xenia. Not no more!

Chicken tenders are excellent, great flavor and cooked well. Mashed potato’s seem to be instant but still warm and worth the buy. Sweet tea was nice and sweet!
