This place always has very friendly service and is so accommodating to my special requests of extra crispy livers. When they drop them again for me, they are the best livers in town. The spicy fried chicken is the best I’ve had in town as well. Highly recommend. This is our go-to when we are craving fried chicken or chicken livers.

Do not go to Lees Famous Chicken on Dupont Rd,the breast is skin and bone,hardly any meat. Its over cooked. The biscuits are over cooked. Your sides look like about half a cup portion. I love KFC and shouldve stuck with KFC, butcthought id try Lee’s. I got photos.

Disappointed, usually very happy with Lee’s and I eat there often. We usually go to the Stellhorn Lee’s but my husband happened to be out by Dupont. He got a 1 piece Breast meal and an order of livers. The breast was very small and dry. And the mashed potatoes side was also small. If the main part of the meal is the breast a larger one should be chosen. Use a smaller one in a bucket.

I went on 01/24/22 around 2:15pm . And it was the best fried chicken I ever had from a restaurant. Everyone that’s working there at the time deserves a raise.. I’m full but I’m gonna try and finish it because it’s so good. Chicken was very tender and the outside was crispy and flavourful.

First time eating here. Numerous people have told me that Lee’s is way better than KFC so we decided to give them a try. Got the 16 piece family meal with 4 sides. Sides were really good (green beans, Mac & cheese, etc). Nobody in my house ever eats biscuits so don’t know what they were like. The chicken skin had a good flavor (spicy) but the chicken meat was extremely dry. Got a large order of gizzards. Was expecting fried gizzard but we got really soggy looking things that werent good. I really wasn’t impressed at all. Staff was all extremely friendly and great. I would return just because of how great the staff was, but not for the chicken. For spending almost $60 it wasn’t worth it.
