The tavern pie is a wonderful thing and crunchy pizza. The wings and sandwiches are phenomenal as well. Be sure to try the signature items like the addictive fries. The menu is well thought out. The cup and char pepperoni is stellar and sets off any pizza.

If you’re looking for a perfect Detroit Style pizza in Morgantown, WV, Lefty’s Place has you covered. Everything about their Detroit Style was excellent. The crust, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni made my mouth happy. I added a side salad, and it didn’t disappoint either. Fresh mixed greens with croutons. I had them hold the red onions and tomatoes. They make their own Ranch dressing, which was fabulous. If in Morgantown, give them a try!

Nice spot for pizza. Chill mood and music playing, nice relaxed environment. Pizza is really good. The sauce is excellent, not too sweet, and full of flavor. They load up on the pepperoni, so it was a little on the salty side, but I’m pretty sensitive to salt so it may just be me. Next time I will ask for a little less pepperoni to balance it out. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I recently visited Lefty’s for the first time. We had previously heard, through the “Motown grapevine,” that the food was great. The venue did not disappoint. The inside was super relaxing and spotless clean. The bartender was very pleasant and attentive to the patrons at the bar. The food was delivered as ordered and quite timely. We tried two different flavors of the wing sauce and both were excellent. The wings were nicely size and cooked to perfection. The establishment also offered a nice selection of other wing sauces. The pepperoni rolls were exceptional as well. They were complemented by a healthy order of delicious marinara sauce. We did not try the pizza this time around, but it certainly looked wonderful. The bar offered several craft beer selections from the Chestnut Brewery. It would have been nice to also include a selection from the Screech Owl Brewery. Over all, a great experience and we highly recommend folks to give Lefty’s a try. We have already placed Lefty’s at the top of our list of go to places.

Called lefty’s to order a tavern style fully loaded pizza only I don’t like mushrooms on pizza. So I asked if I can substitute them for banana peppers. She told me it would then be a “build your own pizza”. I asked how much to add the hot peppers….$3.

Lefty’s is a must stop every time we are in Morgantown. If you’re looking for a great pizza experience, you should definitely stop by. The pizza, calzones, and fries are really good. Their fries and ranch are my favorite of all time. Their pizza is very filling so I always have leftovers which I love.

Pizza was decent. The crust is thick and crunchy. They are very generous with the toppings. Sauce is not overly sweet but a good balance. One pizza is good for two people or one heavy eater. Mother Teresa is just the right amount of heat and packed with blue cheese.
