Had an amazing anniversary dinner. The entire staff was so professional and went above an beyond to make the night extra special. Our server Jessie was so knowledgeable about the wine list and gave great recommendations on the menu. Lobster was cooked to perfection…chefs kiss. Can’t wait to come back and try the sushi menu. Manager Cortney was so friendly and helped my husband to surprise me with anniversary gifts. Customer service is superb!!!!

Finally visited Legal, initial reaction was a beautiful restaurant. We had Courtney, she was great, guided us through the menu. We are seafood lovers but wanted to try something different. She suggested the Stuffed Lobster and it was delicious just like she said, her description of the meal was SPOT ON, she used the word “Flavortown” and it was! We love asking our servers their take on what’s good, she hit the nail on the head. We had the best experience and will return!

I was worried after reading other reviews before coming to this Legal Sea Foods… there was no need, the food, service and our overall experience was just fine. I have previously been to Legal Seafood in 3 other locations. We had reservations 7 and were promptly seated. Drinks, appetizers and dinner rolls were right on time and tasted great. I had the New England clam chowder along with a glass of Rose’. Order the clams which were cooked perfectly… sorry no picture, I ate before I thought to take a picture. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service at Legal Sea Food Virginia Beach.

Our waitress Courtney was second to none! I had no intentions of having an I had no intentions of having a drink, and after her recommendations I had two, I even added sushi to my dinner, Thank Courtney! The staff manager of the night was Miss Kelly.. We appreciate her stopping by the table to check on us. My company is going to enjoy this place on July 19 when we come for a celebratory dinner.

Great quality seafood, very fresh. Didn’t have a chance to try legal seafood when I was in Boston so glad they opened up here in VAB. They took over the location of McCormick and Schmick which was one of our former favorite dining places

This is a good choice of restaurant if you like seafood. There are plenty of seafood choices. I found it hard to decide from all the options. There are a couple more non seafood options available, too. They have unique and refreshing cocktails; I tried and liked the mango lemon drop. They have a full bar and also serve beer and wine. They serve a complimentary plate of bread rolls. I tried and liked the Rhode Island style calamari, just enough spicy kick. I settled on the crab cake combo entree. I loved this option. All lump crabmeat with minimal filler baked perfectly with a side of mustard sauce. The entree also included jumbo shrimp and scallops. Everything was fresh, tasty, and to temp. Everyone’s plates had good presentations. I saved enough room for dessert; I was not disappointed with the keylime pie; deliciously sweet and tart. Everyone working here was friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of inside dining and an outside seating area. I did splurge on this meal. Their prices here are reasonable.

First time visiting and food was really good. Atmosphere was good as well. Our server was from San Diego I don’t remember his name but he was exceptional. Food had very good portions and the flavor was good wellllllll the scallops were a little under cooked but that was the only thing. Place is nice, wasn’t too loud. Drinks were on point as well. Didn’t think they were strong until I stood up lol. Would definitely go back again to have another meal.

Nice place but the Boston locations are much better. Lobster sushi roll was the best thing on the menu. Really enjoyed the Greek salad as well. The stuffed lobster was somewhat disappointing. Tequila options were very limited for a “higher end” place. Our waiter was phenomenal and the restaurant was beautiful and clean. Will go back but with lower expectations.

Legal Seafood services was outstanding and the food was delicious for my hubby’s 64th birthday celebration. The manager and staff is worthy of praises for their patronage and services to our party, making sure we were served and the food was good. I will make reservations for my next celebration at Legal Seafood for sure.
