My fish and chips were okay; they were a little soggy, but everything else was delicious. The clam chowder was flavorful, the side salad was simple but delicious, and the steak was juicy and tender! the fish and chips arent a winner, but the restaurant deserves a second chance.

Amazing! So good this was the second time we visited in a week. This time I got the prime rib and my husband got the chicken fried steak dinner. Everything, even the steamed veggies, were cooked perfectly. We also had the fried green beans appetizer and it was surprisingly very delicious, especially with the dipping sauce. The kid’s menu meals come with a drink and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with either chocolate or caramel sauce, for $7. My 5 year old has has the pepperoni pizza both times, and usually hates crust, but ate it on their pizza. My 7 year old got a cheeseburger this time and it was actually a really good sized burger. We shared a slice of the pomegranate parfait cheesecake (I believe that was the name) and it was great! Our server was great as well. Hands-down the best restaurant in the Helena area!

Been a hot minute since I’ve been here. Clean, pleasant staff and good food. Lots of house made choices, along with gluten and vegetarian options. Better than a few years ago when I last was there. Sports on TV, pool tables, very warm building. Full service bar with unique cocktails and unique burgers. Nice out-of the way seating for groups/couple.

Update: I’ve had a couple of visits this year, both of which were disappointing. Mother’s Day breakfast buffet was likely our last visit. It was expensive, but the eggs were green and there was only a tiny selection of items. Hotels do a much better job. Makes me sad, because I really liked this place.

Love the atmosphere and the waitress was delightful and full of information and anecdotes that kept us smiling. The best part? The food!! Delicious fried calamari with chipotle aioli, the best Cuban pork loin sandwich with a sweet n spicy mustard I’ve ever had, and a delicious flame broiled mac n cheese burger (didn’t think they’d go together well, but it was a perfect blend of flavors). Everything was homemade and we loved every bite! We highly recommend if you’re in Clancy! Oh, and we also heard from locals about the caramel apple or candied walnut praline cinnamon roll french toast (yes, made from homemade cinnamon rolls!) for breakfast, so we’ll be back for brunch on Sunday!

Best Mac and cheese I’ve ever eaten and one of the best filets I’ve ever eaten (roasted onion are an amazing complement to steak). The Brie cheese with jam is out of this world too. Overall, incredible food + nice atmosphere + friendly service + surprisingly good wine = awesome dinner and dining experience.

We had a nice dinner at this restaurant the other day. It was our first time trying this place and we had a good experience. My husband had steak and gnocchi and I had salmon with broccoli. The food was very fresh and seasoned nicely. It was actually worth the money. We will be coming back.

So the food wasn’t bad overall it was mainly the service. We arrived early before the rush and literally were the only ones there. We got seated right away and got our drinks then the server kept running off. Then we finally got our orders in and needed refills on the drinks and ketchup. We got our drinks after about 10 minutes and never got the ketchup. The server never came back until we had a disgruntled face staring at here and got the check finally. It wasn’t busy so there was zero excuse for this.

I’m giving it 3 stars. I was eating with my family, we had a reservation for mother’s day, and got seated somewhere next to the bar. One of the lady’s said “Why are you sitting there?” We got seated there by the girl at the front. I thought it was a bit rude but just ignored it. The food was okay, the eggs were green ( I don’t know if that’s normal or not) the sausage was a bit undercooked, mostly the food was decent. They made one of our drinks with to much vodka and it tasted very gross.
