This place is the perfect little neighborhood ‘diner’/bar – much needed in Gautier!! Food is perfectly prepared & divine! Nothing fancy or pretentious- just really good eats. Small & simple family run biz – John, the owner, cooks along with his wife Casey who serves & according to John ‘runs the show’. We had the catfish & some wings. Both some of the best we’ve had in a very long time. Highly recommend you find this little jewel!! Can’t wait to try their breakfast! Enjoy!!

6 of us went, we had a great time. The hamburger has a home made taste; delicious. The bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers had some “snap” to them. Not like the ones made of bell pepper. They had root beer for the youngun. Really nice local pub. John and his wife have a nice place here and are very hospitable. Everything is back to normal, they are closed on Tuesday.

Had a really well seasoned, juicy burger and a Philly Steak. Enjoyed our food, but have stopped back twice, during listed hours, only to find them closed. If you happen by, and they are open, stop in and give them a try!

Go here with family for breakfast. Can’t beat the price and the food is excellent. Eggs cooked good grits are great and the bacon is excellent. Great service and good coffee. You have to overlook the barroom atmosphere if you want to enjoy the friendly service and good food

Uber order. Got the Sysco food service special. 1/4 frozen patty, no seasoning. Requested toppings be placed on the side, which somehow translated in no toppings whatsoever. Seriously, they sent me meat and 2 buns with burnt fries. Even on my worst drunk night, I would risk Krystal’s over this. Overpriced. Definitely NOTHING homemade. Blind buyer beware.

I ordered the shrimp and grits & my husband the build your own omelet with mushrooms, onions, cheese, & ribeye steak and everything was delicious right down to the sweet tea. Very casual, cozy, & rustic with the friendliest owners and chef. Highly recommend even if I would rather keep it a secret:) We will be back

So my hubby and I came from California and decided to meet with my cousins and wives for a reunion here for breakfast. We arrived quite a bit before they opened. I teased the man that we came all that way from California just to eat there. We laughed and he apologized. We were still in the parking lot when John came out and said go on in because they were firing up the grills for us. Fantastic breakfast and reunion! You made our day! Thanks so much!! And we got an invited to a Labor Day party. 5 stars! They opened up for us! How much better can it get?
