Maybe it was the racist vibes that I received walking thru the door, but the food was mediocre at best. Everyone that worked there was looking at me like I had three heads. The guy cooking the food even let out a loud sigh when I placed my order. I guess they don’t get a lot of black customers… The lady taking my order wasn’t mean, but I didn’t get the “friendly welcoming” that the other non black customers received. She didn’t even give me utensils or napkins. I would not spend my money here again. The racist vibes made me extremely uncomfortable. I ordered the catfish over rice with extra white sauce. & It wasn’t as good as other halal spots that I’ve been to.

Visiting from Chicago & having had a variety of Halal places like this, I have got hands down say this place is unique and packed with flavor. Got the combination platter to go, Also once had it in the store. I love the way the meat and chicken is cut in small cube like parts and the mix of the salad and the rice is excellent. Did like in the store when the sauces were already on top. The red spice sauce is extremely spicy, something great if you are having a runny nose and want to clear your sinuses.

Work Work
This used to be a place where food was delicious and portion size was huge, enough to fill you up. They recently downgraded food portions (it was my second time ordering — thought first time was just a fluke). But not only is the food not enough as before, but it’s also bland. Dislike. Would not return. Would rather go to another halal place that has good food.

The food is good I will definitely recommend the lamb, chicken, or mixed rice platter. This is the local custom food and more popular than the chicken and waffle hype. I also, recommend the burgers and gyros for the sandwich lovers. Btw the atmosphere I wish that other folks comments would stop comparing this spot or any other to NYC. This is the Northeast region of the United States and the food in Baltimore and NYC is pretty much the same. In the West Coast I don’t see and hear Los Angeles comparing Las Vegas in cuisine. Watch the television show Master Chef United Taste of America on Fox to see what I am talking about. Also, there is a racial tension and bad vibes in the restaurant people come in to eat and enjoy. When I hear other comments about racial tension it’s all in there head because the folks that works there seems cool to me. I want to know can they make a chopped cheese?

Frequent customer to this place. Service is pretty fast.I usually do carry out. But recently I also dined in. It’s a decent place. Taste and quantity is highly satisfactory. The lemonade here also taste good. For people who like less sugar, do try the lemonade. That’s a good pick too.

The food was indigestible and tasted very bad. We got chicken burgers, onion rings and fries. Chicken breast was so thick and undercooked. Fries and onion rings had a bitter taste as if the oil wasn’t changed for a very long time or some non- halal items were fried in it as well.
