Amazing food. The name is a bit understated. We went in with Steakhouse Mentality and were pleasantly surprised at the broad menu options. We had Chicken and Waffles and an amazing Shaved Ribeye Philly Cheese. Both were off the charts good. Awesome value too. Family owned and operated. THIS PLACE IS LEGIT !!

We dined here recently for the 1st time everything was so good mouthwatering good & fresh! Our waiter Danner was very Informative as far as making suggestions and knowing the menu and was overall a very nice person! Thank you for the 5 STAR FOOD AND FIVE STAR SERVICE! We will be back and I will tell anyone who asks where is a good place to eat in Murphy to go to Legends! PS keep those egg rolls on Appetizers they are the BOMB! Be sure to try the Stuffed mushrooms!

We wandered in because it looked like it would be good, nope. 2 kids and I .. Caesar salad, one blt wrap and one chicken sandwich later , we conclude it was lousy. My Caesar with added chicken had virtually no chicken and the lettuce was tired, brown edges.. the BLT was basically a lettuce sandwich, first one had no bacon, second one was just as lacking with tired lettuce and the ” Heirloom tomatoes ” were tiny little chunks, she didn’t even eat it..third was chicken sandwich which was a dry overcooked chunk. We just came off a 7 mile hike so we were starving, but I wouldn’t recommend it for lunch. I’ve posted a picture of a comparable blt wrap at the same price point. The staff was terrific though, happy smiling faces but the kitchen was lacking

My husband’s ribeye was exactly cooked to order, as was my grilled shrimp, and both dinners were so delicious. The side dishes were scrumptious (prepare for a lot of food!), and the apple pie a la mode topped off a perfect meal. Emily, our outstanding waitress, was very pleasant and attentive. LEGENDS is definitely the restaurant for tasty good cooking!

Love the restaurant. This was the second time dining here. Food is excellent , staff excellent job. Just a little boomed out first time we came I ordered pork belly wonderful just wonderful checked menu on web sight and it was still there so we drove all the way from Middle Ga. just to eat pork belly just to fine they haven’t served it in over a year. So just call to see if they are serving what you see on menu. Legends please up date menu. I could have eaten a steak much closer to home.

Great experience, nice atmosphere. Decent prices & food great! Had a broad variety in options, did not expect that for a seemingly small town. The hummus avocado & tomato appetizer was my favorite, fun combo, fresh & well served. Loaded nachos were great as well. My Carolina Sunrise burger was delicious, egg perfectly cooked. Mac and cheese was very cheesy, mashed potatoes perfect as well! Finally found a place this trip that kept them chunky with their skins. The fries were fantastic too, like huge potato wedges. My mom got the grilled cheese with bacon & my dad the classic burger. My husband had the 2 pork chops fried with mac. We had driven through Murphy years ago and I noticed it packed, didn’t get a chance to stop and eat til this year! Will go back if passing through again.

My husband and I went to Legends to celebrate his birthday. We were informed that two appetizers were not available and the wine that I ordered was also not available. I did order Rosemary’s Salty Dog from the bar and it was good. Most of the beef and the scallops are market price. My filet mignon was delicious and very flavorful. My husband said that his scallops were very good. I had a side salad and mac and cheese, which was rather flavorless. My husband said his grits were only okay and the onion rings were crunchy and good. We did not stay for dessert. Our server was good, not we had to flag her down a couple of times in between her serving us. The room is large with high ceilings so it tends to get loud. Keep in mind that this restaurant is next to the movie theater so street parking may not be available. Call for a reservation so that you’re guaranteed a table. We rate it a 6 out of 10 stars.
