I’ve ate here numerous times and have never had a bad meal! Breakfast is delicious and dinners are exceptional! The steaks are also as good as any sthat I’ve had at high end steakhouses back home(Chicago) and that’s impressive!!

Easily our favorite steakhouse in Deadwood! Food is always on-point and the prices are always excellent! For the food that you get, it feels like the prices should be way higher. Staff are knowledgeable about wine and liquor pairings, etc.

The Legends Steakhouse is forever a favourite of mine. My husband and I go for most of our special occasions because the food is always exceptionally on point. The service is above amazing. And the ambiance is perfect for a nice, intimate dinner.

Went on a Saturday around 9 pm. Our waitress was good and friendly. First off its a nice place. We sat right next to the electric fireplace. Ordered a sweet tea and hubby ordered Long Island Iced tea. My tea was gross! It literally was sugar water. Hubby liked his “LIT”. The complimentary bread and butter was amazing, but how could anyone mess that up. Wanted prime rib but they were out. I decided on the Steak Oscar ($46) with the vanilla mint salad! The salad was really good, however the mint really didnt go well.The Steak Oscar is a filet with lump crab meat and Hollandaise sauce. It was over cooked, a low quality cut and cold, the sauce lumpy not smooth how it should be, the truffled mac n cheese was cold and the green beans and asparagus were cold. Sent back. Husband ordered the Elk Gnocchi Pasta. ($29) with the Caesar salad. It was really tasty. We both shared that while waiting for my dinner to be remade. We sat and visited while we waited. As we sat I noticed oil separating from the cream sauce from The Elk pasta dish !! It looked unappealing and I was surprised at the amount of oil because it didnt taste oily at all!! My Steak Oscar finally came back and I still didnt like it. It was so tough. Hubby tried it, he didnt care for it either. We enjoyed the ambiance and eachothers company. We will give this place another try next time we visit. Also we never were asked if we wanted dessert ☹️ our total was $94.

Hands down the best dining experience we’ve had in Deadwood. Superb food and top notch service. Layne H served us and it was faultless, she was absolutely professional and very personable. We returned for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised to be served by her again.

Called a head of time. Spoke with a gentleman. Who said that they will close at 9 Confirmed once again. That I will be driving a long distance and I want to make sure the 6 people in my party. We’ll have a table waiting. The man said there would be no problem as long as we were there before 9. Drove over an hour to get there. Had to park my big rig. Over a block and a 1/2 away, high tailed it up the street. Walked in the door at 8:09. And was told they overbooked for the night. Ask to speak to a manager. After waiting 15 minutes for the manager to arrive. He said there is nothing he could do. I had explained that ever since COVID. I confirme before going anywhere. He seemed confused and unsure. Stumbling over his words. I had said, could we have made a reservation? And he says no, it’s first come first serve. I had said how would you be able to Eat an establishment that makes their own schedule. Up as they go. Extremely disappointed With how this was handled.

What can I say this place was absolutely delicious ordered a 7oz Filet and it was so tender I could cut it with my fork, the truffled mac n cheese was spectacular. The Bloody mary was great.

The service and food was OUTSTANDING! I have literally recommended it to everyone I know!!!! We went on a Friday night and it was so good we went back the next night. Alex was our server and he was wonderful. We’re from out of town but I will be going back here at some point. Yummy!!!!!
