I’m not sure what others’ expectations are, but this place is not what they’re saying. We were seated quickly, but the waitress was rude to start. We hadn’t been sitting for a minute -literally- before she came over and said, “Did you decide?” No introduction or greeting and it took me off guard. I got to stare at cleaning products throughout my meal and the food was just okay. In my opinion, the pizza sauce on the personal cheese pizza was way too sweet, and the chicken in the chicken Alfredo was dry. I will say the potato pancakes were awesome! Drinks were served in a can with a cup of ice on the side. The light above my table was flickering on and off. Not my idea of an enjoyable dinner. Y’all decide for yourselves.

For an Irish guy who seems to show up more in Italian restaurants than anywhere else, I’ve run across some great food and some not so great. Some wanna b’s try their best, some don’t wanna be’s get it almost right and I’m sure there’s an Irish guy or two who owns one. So, as we were heading back from the south (yes a snowbird} we stopped at Leggio’s in Wilkes-Barre PA and can say that adding them to the list of great Italian restaurants is not hard in this case, this isn’t a wanna be, but the real thing. Extensive menu, comfortable seating, fast service, great wait staff…Thanks Stacy :), of course the food I had was fabulous ( Seafood Fra Diavolo) my wife ( Veal Saltimbocca). Sadly went there for a funeral reception, however, the food was exceptional and the owner (wish I got his name) was exceptionally attentive and friendly. Everyone loved the food and friendly staff. We will go back again and we’re from Connecticut! 5 Stars!

We were seated at 5:30 . Our order was taken about 10 minutes later. However we did not get our entrees until 7:45 . We complained to the owner and he got mad at us for complaining to him. He showed us no empathy . Everyone sent their food back and the owner was not happy, he begrudgingly took the entrees off the bill. No apologies from the owner for the lateness. He actually yelled at us that we did not wait 30 minutes . He said “ I have a party of 30 in the back”

Absolute home run! I kept it very simple last night with a side salad, spaghetti and meatballs and glass of chianti. All the food was fresh and delicious, but what really brought it home was the OUTSTANDING, attentive and friendly service from our waitress, do yourself a favor and stop by if your in Wilkes Barre

Waited 2 hours for our food. Told Sal we didn’t want it. Waited too long. He started yelling he had a party of 30 in the back and was busy. Very rude and sarcastic to me. After giving him business for many many years he had no problem screaming at me right in the dining room. Wow what a temper. Will never return again.

Outrageously welcoming when we arrived (we have a big family so usually its an oh no moment) the food was AMAZING. best chicken francaise I’ve ever had. Cheese cake was amazing. And pretty sure my kids ate EVERY THING which is a victory its self. Everyone was super kind and friendly. We will definately be back.

Been quite some time since I had the pleasure of enjoying this eatery. My taste buds were rewarded for sure. Their Philadelphia salad was awesome. It was a cheesesteak salad that included all the fixings you could want including fries! Because I was having lunch with my youngest grandchild, I asked for my fries ‘on the side’, and was obliged without a problem. My daughter also enjoyed this (special) salad with her fries on the salad. The combination of the cold crisp veggies and the warm shaved steak and fries was a delicious bite. Almost too much wonderful food but we both managed to stuff 90% of it into our happily full tummies. As for the granddaughter, she enjoyed a personal pizza and of course most of my fries. She took over half of her pizza home and I’m sure she’s enjoying it for her supper. I will not wait so long before I return.
