First time eating African food, and it was awesome! Fish was fried perfectly, juicy and tender on the inside. Rice was so well seasoned and just look at the portion! The only thing I didn’t like was the dark red paste that came with it, it had a fishy flavor I didn’t care for, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. I already have the next meals scoped out and will be coming back. It’s a warm environment that you can tell is family run and food is made with care. Go here!

I honestly don’t remember the last time I’ve been this exciting about a restaurant. We went on Saturday for the first time and wow!

Went there the morning after the party. The food was great. We laid ambush for the door to open and it was worth it. Lady was down to earth with fantastic sense of humor. My boys were naughty yet she tolerated them all. Bless you sis. I’ll drive over from NY to eat.

Was in the area, so I decided to grab some African food because there aren’t any restaurants near me. The food was not what I expected. Meat and fish portions were very small for the price I paid for the food. The taste of the food was not what I’m used to. I know that home cooked meals are often better than takeout, but this was no comparison. I didn’t taste any love in the dishes. The service was great, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

We were in town visiting New Jersey from West Virginia. My boyfriend wanted some authentic African food and we decided to try this wonderful restaurant. The owners were very hospitable to us. The food was very delicious and they provided us with a great portion. We both had the jollof rice. My boyfriend had the beef and I had the chicken. The experience was very delightful. Please give their food a try you will not be disappointed. They even allowed us to try some of the scrumptious puff puff for the first time.

This is my second time at this restaurant, the owner and stuff are very friendly and go out of their way for the customers, I love it! The Banku and Okra were delicious but the meat was really tough to chew. The jollof rice with fried goat was really good but again the meat was very tough. I also got bitter greens with white rice which was amazing, I highly recommend!

First time having jollof rice (with goat), was delicious and excellently spicy, the sauce was special, friendly staff, really warmed me up and worth the rainstorm I had to run through to get back to my car.
