Leila by the Bay was named after Leila, a mother who inspired the belief that good food unites families and communities. Passion for food and serving others is central to our success. We serve healthy, fresh (homemade from scratch) and very tasty California cuisine.

The staff is very customer service oriented and the food was great. The drinks were delicious as well. And depending on where you’re sitting the view is gorgeous. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was the Irish Coffee, but that’s on me because I’m very particular about my coffee and my Irish Coffee.

This was an unexpected gem, my wife and I had breakfast and we were so impressed with the quality of the food, the customer service outsanding, and the vista of the bay was delightful, that we returned the same day with our family and enjoyed a memorable dinner. The veiw, besides the bread & wine was my favorite part. I got a lamb Burger, & it was grainy. The fries could’ve been cooked longer as well. The service was good besides one girls attitude, you could just tell she didn’t want to be @ work. Overall I did enjoy myself with my friend. Can’t say I’d recommend this place though.

It’s a cute spot with a nice outdoor space. Even though we arrived 15 minutes before kitchen closing (we didn’t know they closed in the afternoon), they seated us and we were able to order. Food was fresh and delicious, also had a really good cocktail. I would recommend this little hidden gem.

Great food. I can’t complain about much except that the service was a bit slow. The place is not that big and it should not have taken the waiter as long as it did to take the order and bring the check. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I like the Motown pictures and music. The view out the window was nice and so was the neighborhood. If your in a hurry find another place to eat. It’s good food and a relaxing place.
