Definitely don’t plan on coming back after visiting for the first time over the weekend. Service was very slow for it to only have been a few people there when walking in. I sat at the bar and ordered a drink (Moscow mule) which was only filled barely halfway and paid $16 for it. Ordered a half pound of shrimp and the picture says it all. I’ve had better at other places and paid less.

I walked in and the place was smaller than I thought it would be but it looks nice. I sat at the bar. The customer service was impeccable and the food was delicious! The drinks are tasty and the hookah was smooth! I will definitely be back several times! The bartenders Kia and Essence are a whole vibe. Ask for them!

Slot King Dream
This place is basically a bar that they’re trying to change and make it a sea food stop. It’s horrible the seafood was overcooked. They had a live DJ. That’s too loud for it’s such a small venue ordered some rice with Cajun or something and this is what was in the picture and I will not be back to this place. Please avoid parking is horrible. It’s in the hood I’m driving a $200000 car no thank you.

Heard about a new seafood restaurant in the area. Went in for lunch with high expectations. We should have turned around when we walked in and no one was there. A few people were at the bar. We decided to try it anyway. I ordered the Crispy Calamari appetizer. Mind you, we’re the only ones dining. It came out lukewarm and tasted old. Like they reheated last night’s leftovers in the oven. I ordered Mussels with lemon butter garlic sauce and added a crab leg cluster. Let me tell you, nothing was hot. The Mussels were old and dry, had no flavor and were also lukewarm. Two were dead, and unopened, two had broken shells. You don’t serve that to customers. The sauce was tasteless. Crab legs, the same. They were hot though. Water logged, old with no flavor. My friend ordered the crab boil with corn and something else. Old, cold and no flavor. The corn was over cooked and dry. She also had the fried shrimp basket with hush puppies. Shrimp was okay. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Totally disappointed. I have to think long and hard about returning. Never have I ever left crab legs behind. I had to.

The Drinks and customer service is what makes this place good. The food is horrible; the shrimp were still light pink like they weren’t cooked and so were the crab legs. The seasoning was non existent. There were boxes piled in the corner like it was moving day. Tables are too low and not proper dining height so you’re hunched over while trying to eat. The bartender Essence and our server Essence (two different people same name) WERE OUTSTANDING!!!! They made the entire experience worth going back, but only for drinks and French Fries and to chat with them. My sister and I laughed and had a great time chatting with the staff. The Pirate’s Boil is around the corner from this place and much better; we went there right after to only chat with folks there who had the same experience. Could be a great place with some recipe and seasoning changes.

Went to this spot yesterday to give it a try after hearing not so good things about it from friends. So I wasn’t surprised with my findings… The waitress was really nice and patient… The food and drinks were not great… Drinks taste like it didn’t have any alcohol at all and ALL of the food came out cold…. Not many ppl dining in, so I’m not sure why. The atmosphere is cute, but that’s about it… Unfortunately I will not be returning 🙁
