Bought a mix ceviche and through Grubhub and the ceviche sadly it was old and it was pass due . I was saddened and upset because I love my Latina food and I’am an Latina entrepreneur and I love my Latinos too be successfully . I called to report the issues with the food and the business owner began to scream to me on the food expressing that it was fresh . I hang up and left as it is . Don’t order from this place ceviche is not Good .

According to my taste buds, this Leña y Carbon doesn’t know how to control salt. I’ve ordered multiple times and something is always extremely salty or extremely bland. Today the chicken was do salty I couldn’t continue eating. The chaufa was okay, but could’ve been better.

I placed an order in Uber eats and after 45 minutes they called me to tell me “she didn’t realized I placed an order” and asked me if I can cancel my order. I didn’t and then Uber didn’t give me the money back! And of course the restaurant is not answering either!

Food was tasty and drinks were good. Ive would have given this place a higher rating but the service was bad. We waited over 30 minutes and waitress had not taken our drink order. I had to go to the bar and order our drinks. My guests food was served and after 15 min of waiting for mine I had to flag my waitress down to get my food. Lastly the bathrooms were filthy and had no soap to wash your hands. If I would have seen this first I would have not ate here.

I’ve tried a few of these restaurants and the one in Harrison is my fav. Although the Paterson location is pretty good too. This location can be hit or miss. Sometimes food is very good and other times they drop the ball. Example, the first time I ordered here the porkchops arrived very overcooked and hard. And then the 2nd and 3rd was good. But today I ordered again and they sent me the wrong food. Food was still good but not what I ordered and paid for. And being that the prices are a little high compared to other places, I was expecting quality. Thus I’m giving 3 stars.

I ordered a whole chicken among other things via Uber eats and the chicken arrived undercooked today at 3:24pm. I called at 4:04pm to complain about the chicken and the woman told me she will send a whole new chicken with the delivery guide in 25-30 minutes. At 4:52pm I called again to inquire about the status of my chicken and the woman said it would take 40 minutes. I told her my food was cold and my kids haven’t eaten. She told me to call at 9pm when the owner would be there and proceeded to hang up on me. I am disgusted at the lack of customer service the employee and the whole establishment has displayed. I am a regular customer and demand that better service be provided.
