We spent almost $50 on 3 grinders. This is what we got! I would be ashamed of myself if I owned a restaurant and handed this to a customer. The paper that the grinders were wrapped in were soaked in grease so much that it broke when I opened it up to take it out. I mean this is beyond ridiculous. The taste is the worst part because it tasted like throw up. I’ve never smelled or tasted sauce that horrible ever at a restaurant

This place is great. Their grinders are HUGE. When I say that I truly mean it and with that big of a meal they manage to not let their quality falter. The only shortcoming I’d have to say is the store hours. While most places are open until about 10 Lena’s Italian kichen closes at 8. While it does add to the “Homey” feel, it does leave a lot to be desired especially of you work late. Believe me when I say I’d like to see later store hours especially with the quality of this small operation. Overall, they are a gem in Manchester and worth a visit, or two, or ten!

This location was recently pirchased by new management and they have truly turned the place around! I went with a group of 5 people , and we were all suprised at how good all of our dishes were. I ordered a calzone, and it was perfect! Slightly crunchy on the outside, not burnt, loaded with topings on the inside, and evenly distributed so the experence is consistant. The sause is also fantastic! It was thick, without being super chunky, not super sweet or super acidic, and not salty, which is a problem at many other places. We are looking forward to our next visit.

One of the best sausage grinders you can get. I have been dieting and decided to have a cheat meal after a whole month of being good. Every month I am going to spend my cheat meal at Lena’s and get a whole sausage grinder, its so jam packed with sausage, cheese, peppers onions and sauce its worth the price.
