Excellent food!! We went on a Thursday night and it was bust, but we got seated right away. My son’s shared a cheese pizza, and I had the Leonardo penne pasta! Delicious! Service was a little slow, but it was very busy!

It was a really nice place. Being a vegetarian, we didn’t had much options other than the tomato Basil pizza. I gave it fours stars as when requested they whipped up potatoes and spinach for us. We had non alcoholic beverages out of two one was amazing. They very well accommodated a lady on wheelchair as well. There were families there celebrating Mother’s Day!

The food was amazing! Had the spinach ravioli and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff was incredible and super nice, they were really great at suggesting food. Leonardo himself was there and was super nice! Spoke to us about Italy and made sure we had a great experience will be coming back whenever we come back to Solvang.

We visited on a very busy holiday Monday before the 4th of July so it may not be a typical experience in this quieter tourist town. We had a short wait of about 10 minutes and a lovely table out front on a warm evening. The wait got larger and longer after our arrival and the owner was outside giving glasses of wine to waiting diners in a very festive and comfy atmosphere. The indoor space is lovely as well with a full bar. The cocktails were delicious (purple Haze in particular) with a serviceable mojito. Their beer, wine and spirits selection is impressive. Focaccia and olive oil/balsamic for the table and a starter of carpaccio. The carpaccio was excellent and among the best I’ve had. Well seasoned, super thin, fresh arugula and generous parm shavings. The pizza was crispy and delicious (simple pepperoni), well cooked with Parm and pepper available. My main was the orichiette with kohlrabi, sausage, and Calabrian pepper. Well seasoned and tender pasta, exactly what I hoped for. Dessert menu looked amazing but we were too full. Our server Angela was attentive and excellent even given an extremely busy service.

To be fair, this post is about my dessert experience. It was absolutely amazing. Portion sizes are great for sharing and plenty of variety. I believe we had 2 specials and 4 off the menu. Lava cake was very good and the spumoni is my fave. Limoncello dessert was refreshing. I ordered a cappuccino but failed to come in a timely manner. I did ask for it to go but they don’t have to go cups

Tried this restaurant for the first time on my Birthday with my family. All I have to say is that their food is DELICIOUS, the Pizzas are the BEST I’ve tasted so far. I also got a complimentary dessert for my Birthday , next time I’m in Solvang for sure eating there again. Not to mention our waiter who gave us excellent service. If you love Italian food like I do, this restaurant is a must.

We tried this place based on the reviews. They were absolutely right. I ordered a Chicken Alfredo linguini which was not on their menu. It was delicious, the sauce was light and creamy with not much butter or cheese. The linguini pasta was aldente, freshly made which I rarely get with other restaurants. Superbe! My wife ordered the short rib ravioli which was the best ravioli we’ve ever had. It’s no wonder that 90% of their customers are locals who come back again and again. Service was excellent! Highly recommended to have a reservation. We sat at the bar and had a great chat with Juan and Luis behind the bar.

Amazing restaurant. The food was great! We came for dinner and barely made it before they closed. The one downside I would say was it was a little pricey. However, our waiter was friendly, fun, and encouraging to us. The staff also was really helpful at suggesting food. I highly recommend trying this place if you ever come.
