118 years this place has been in business. I found it by total chance while looking for a place relatively close to the airport. The hight rating talked me into taking my girl there for lunch. It’s a small place that feels like you are eating in someone’s house. Even the kitchen remains looking like what you would find in someone’s home.

The absolute worst Italian food I’ve ever had. 40 yrs. ago this place was top notch. Now, the sauce tastes like it came out of a can…very bland. Way overpriced for something that tastes less impressive than Chef Boyardee.

Upon arriving around 230p there was a high presence of pedestrians of questionable character seemingly loitering in the area. I’m not sure if there’s a halfway house or methadone clinic nearby but it seemed like it judging by the “neighbors”. Make sure you lock your car!

Edible food, but tasteless. My daughter and I ordered the small spaghetti for $14.25. I had meatballs and we ordered a side of garlic bread. It looked delicious, but nothing had flavor—except the meatballs. They just had bad flavor. For $15/each! Gimme a break!

Today Tony and I had a very nice late lunch early dinner at Leonoro’s in Charleston WV on the East End of town since 1915. It was Tony’s first time here and my third.
