Food was not the problem. Server brought our food and then never checked on us again. Would not even look in our direction so we could flag her down for an additional drink. When we initially came in we were the second table so the place being busy was not the problem.

I recently had the displeasure of trying Leon’s Pizza, and I have to say, it was the worst pizza I have ever tasted in my life. The pizza tasted like a cheap, cardboard-like gas station pizza that left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. The crust was particularly disappointing, as it was bland, dry, and lacked any flavor. The sauce was equally lackluster and failed to complement the pizza in any way.

Wonderful restaurant, owned and operated by the Valsamis family for many years, they are wonderful, hard-working, humble people who work hard to deliver delicious, fresh, and tasty Greek and American cuisine to the people of the shoreline. Their pizza’s are very greek style, with a nice spicy sauce and wonderful homemade dough. The rest of their dishes are very delicious, and the portions are very generous with enough food for two (2) meals practically. Not to mention the restaurant is clean, very inviting, with a nice Greek vibe to it, and you feel like you’re family when you walk through the doors. Me and the family have been going there for years and we’ve had many wonderful meals and would highly recommend!!!

The only place to go for Greek food in the area, so authentic and when you’re here you are treated like family, in a good way. Also everything is so clean, my girls say the bathroom is like a fancy hotel! I overheard someone say that they have the best penne ala vodka in town, but I usually stick with Greek classics like gyro or slouvaki.
