I’ve been coming here each week during golf season for several year with a few buddies. Food has been very good as well as the service from the wait staff. However, this past Tuesday (8/22/23) waitress Alex was so very nice to three old golfers. Her attention to our lunch meal and her beautiful smile were amazing!

Food wasn’t very good. Salad was left under a heat lamp, which is not right the shredded cheese started melting into a ball shape. Wife ordered cheese nachos and way to skimpy on cheese. And ordered 2 kids mac and cheese and was so gritty. Will not return to this establishment.

I came in with some family members after my young cousins Little League game, around 7:30-8 on 7/27. They were absolutely slammed, and understaffed with only 2 cooks and 2 servers. Our server was wonderful. However, after we had been there a while and noticed how busy they were, we noticed a manager had been called in to help catch them back up. She showed up in street clothes and started berating the servers and cooks alike with how behind they were, but there were easily 10+ tables while also trying to deal with online/DoorDash orders. At this point the many patrons of the restaurant were quieting down to look in the direction of the kitchen as we could clearly hear what was being said, and we weren’t sitting particularly close

Had a meeting here with the Anchor Bay Chamber. Service was great! They kept the coffee flowing and the breakfast was amazing. I would recommend the half order of biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns.

I took my oldest son and the two grand kids out for supper. We picked this place, and I’m glad we did. We had a fun and patient waitress, lol. Took great care of us. Our food was very good. The kids and my son got milkshakes. They were a hit!! All in all a very enjoyable experience! I also appreciated the 10% senior discount!

This is my favorite restaurant for excellent food and service. There is always an unbelievable choice of specials and desserts which are more than any other restaurant around. The servers are very helpful and give excellent service with always making sure we, as customers, are satisfied with our food and asking if they can help in any way. The food is very well prepared and served promptly. The breakfasts are unbelievable with eggs and hash browns served per our requests. For a great meal at reasonable prices, please give this restaurant a try…..you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered carry out and this is what I received. On top of receiving hardly any fries, the chili and cheese was everywhere and all over the other containers. The chicken lemon rice soup was also very watered down. Very disappointing.

They were very short staffed and it was apparent. Waitress that took my order was completely bothered by my existence it seemed! Only ordered a bowl of lemon rice soup….was given chicken noodle that had no broth and was all celery. Ordered milkshake and she said “I’ll get that when I can”. I also work in an environment that is chronically understaffed,so I understand the frustration, but seriously….

From what i see they are under staff in cook area people are waiting for there food. the staff need to keep their cool under pressure. They need have two cooks on staff at all times.
