I called at around 8 after seeing they were open until 9 and they just let the phone ring. Decided instead to drive there and order in person as I have usually had little to no trouble here in the past. When I drove up the sign in the window was lit up saying they were open but when I walked in the atmosphere was so off. I went up the the cashier and asked if I could order and he told me point blank that they were closed. He literally said nothing else this entire interaction and I just had to walk right out it was so weird. I found the lack of social awareness and common courtesy quite alarming. The only other time I have had an issue here was when I was picking up a pizza and walked into the restaurant hearing an extremely heated argument between two staff members. They were screaming at each other and throwing expletives left and right. Nobody was trying to break it up and it carried on for the few godawful minutes I was in there waiting for my pizza. Overall the pizza is honestly just mid and not worth the hassle.

Pretty good pizza, good amount of toppings on my pizza and nicely cooked. The pizza is on the thinner side which is fine by me, but I know some will prefer a thicker crust. I was excited to try their wings as well, as they’re not cooked in the oven and therefore aren’t soft and slimy. The wings themselves were crispy and seasoned, though a bit heavy on the salt.

My wife and I came here for lunch with a few friends. We were told their pizza’s and sandwiches are very good. Even though we had a big group, the reception and service was great! One of the employees patiently took our order with a smile and also provided recommendations on what menu items was worth trying out. They have pizzas in three different sizes. The smallest size is enough for a teenager to feel satisfied. The prices were reasonable like any other pizza restaurant. They even have a gluten free option. It also seemed like a lot of customers were picking up take out orders.

Seriously? Who is rating this pizza so high? I had one Sicilian person say they thought it was frozen pizza and another from Naples who said the flavors were out right bad. The person who stated that it tasted like toaster oven cardboard was spot on! With so many better places to get pizza around, it is not worth the time or calories to go here. It is always a bit suspicious when you don’t see them making the pizza! UPDATE 3/17/20 – still not a fan of cardboard pizza!

Finally a place outside of New Haven with that signature well done style. While it lacks that coal, smokey taste, it is fairly similar in terms of dough chewiness and cheese. However, the sauce tastes rather acidic and could use improvement. Also, why so much dried oregano sprinkled on though? Improve the sauce and lose the oregano.

Letizia’s Pizza is fantastic. The crust is the best part. They cook it perfectly and the sauce is amazing. I’ve never had to wait long when ordering ahead which is greatly appreciated on Fridays. The staff is super friendly. I love that the guy behind the counter cracks jokes about how similar my name is to their restaurant. They know what they’re doing when it comes to pies! I usually get the bacon and hot peppers but the rest of the menu looks great as well.

Been going there since our twins were small and now bring grandkids there. The absolute best pizza in Ct. the sausage pie is unbelievably delicious. Thin crust is always cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place.
