Ordered the fruit French toast. Requested all toppings and paid upcharge. States strawberries, blueberries and bananas. Not even 1/4 of a rotted banana and 1/2 of one slice of strawberry. Requested cheese be added to bacon omlette and paid upcharge. Look how thin the omlette is and arrived cold…as did French toast. The toast that came with omlette was in a paper sleeve – clearly handled by people – and placed directly on my omlette. I cut the omlette in half in picture to show its not even 3 eggs yet cost 15 bucks. As were the fruit topped French toast. Don’t forget the 9.00 upcharge for the slice of strawberry and slice of cheese!!!

I would like to start highlighting that our server was amazing. She was super attentive and nice all the time. Unfortunately the food was terrible, I can not address enough how bad it was. We got really salty food, then dry dry dry fish and lastly, EXPIRED gravy in our mashed potatoes. Not coming back.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a month! The omelet was perfect, the breakfast potatoes were steaming hot, the toast was fluffy! Everything was clean, my server was attentive, and the cost was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Weekend breakfast buffet is great, our lunch was wonderful. My wife had the fried shrimp basket and I enjoyed the fish & chips ( fries) food prepaired well. Our server was attentive. We like the Lewes diner!

Our family lived in Lewes from 1957-59 when I was 4-6 years old and although this diner did not exist then, this was the opportunity to re-experience the town after 64 years. Everyone hospitable and friendly. Would recommend to anyone and would return because I hope to see Lewes again in the next few years.

The sausage gravy tasted like it came out of a can. Super expensive, even for breakfast food. Would go again if nothing else was open but stay away from the gravy.

I got the chicken salad club with french fries and Manhattan clam chowder. My husband got the egg salad sandwhuch french fries and chicken noodle soup. It was all very delicious. Best french fries. Server was very nice.

My family stopped in and we were less than impressed. My fish and chips was overcooked in some places but mushy in other areas. My boyfriend’s crabcake was way too mustards and many of his fried items were overcooked. The fries tasted like the oil in the fryer needed changing. Lastly, my son ordered chocolate chip pancakes and we were charged for them, however he never had any chocolate chips in his pancakes. We paid $125 for a meal that made me wish I had just cooked at home. Definitely not worth the money.

Tried this pizza jon/diner because I noticed their affordable prices, and especially the specials! Got the large pizza and lewis combo special and the food was great! Pizza crust was nice and thin and light and slightly crunchy. Breaded mushrooms and onion rings were big and had a nice thin coating and when i complimented on them, the waitress said they made them in house! Most places, these fried appettizers are small with a thicker coating thats acts as a sponge and absorbs too much grease. The waitress was very friendly as well. I wish i was in town to try out their breakfast buffet as there are no diners near my hometown that have one.
