While attending an event at the Best Western Cascadia I had a chance tonco.e here for lunch with my friends. I loved the fact that this restaurant is in an old house. The staff were extremely welcoming and the variety of BBQ was impressive. I opted for the lunch latter and had ribs with cornbread and a side if Mac n cheese. The ribs were too die for. Loved the corn bread. Sadly I thought the Mac ‘n cheese was lacking, but as I said, the ribs were to die for and this made up for the Mac ‘n cheese. Only reason I didn’t give this review a 5 was that the restaurant does not have any beer available to order, had to have lemonade instead. I would definitely order here again next time I am in town.

Been wanting to try this place out for as long as I can remember.. it did not disappoint. I regret not coming here sooner. We got the rib dinner plate and big papa sandwich, couldn’t decide which I loved more. The greens, potato salad, and macaroni were all tasty. And I highly recommend trying their sweet tea that they make!! I’ll be back.

Thus place is so good! Lew, the owner, knows what he is doing. The collard greens were just right. It wasn’t very busy at the moment I was there, so we talked about life and just hung out. Definitely will be going back, and bringing friends.

The shop is clean, quirky and homey. Lew and his partner made me feel welcome and tried to prepare me for how delicious this was gonna be, but oh man. The pork was juicy and the sauce had a real nice low heat to it that I loved. The collards were the best I’ve had in years; deeply flavorful, tender, without being too salty. Just balanced. Go here.

I stopped here for lunch a couple of weeks ago, and just realized I forgot to leave a review. I had the sliders (brisket) and potato salad. DELICIOUS! Moist, tender, and flavorful. And kind proprietors. Lew is all about giving back to the community. You should definitely stop in and support this small business, not just because it’s local but because it’s really GOOD. I’ll be back!

Oh man you gotta try Lew’s BBQ!! I got the Chicken Thigh, with Mac n Cheese and Collard Greens! The chicken was juicy and tender. I dont know how he did it. The sauce is like you have never had in your life..The mac was creamy and cheesy not dry at all. and the Greens were simmered and seasoned to perfection..Crave worthy..go get Lews

I’ve tried their ribs, brisket, beans, pulled pork, big daddy, big papa, potato salad, “Lew’s Mac + Meat Bowl”, the Soul Food Platter, the lemonade, the sweet tea, the sliders, mac and cheese, coleslaw and their baked beans, all 10/10. Good customer service. Honest and open service if there was such a thing. 10/10 would go there again.

That hit the spot. Barbecue sauce was amazing. I felt like I stopped by Lews house for dinner. Great customer service. And that barbecue thigh he sent me home with was delicious. You cannot help but feel like you made a friend. Just good people around a small American Business. You should go in and support them.
