Love this place! Love love LOVE the cheesy chips! And it’s BYOB. Always love coming to Lex Mex. Update: as of 2017 the once magnificent cheesy chip recipe has changed! The “new” cheesy chip construction is good, but not as glorious as the original. My favorite salsa and nachos on the planet. I can never get enough of Lex Mex. Ashley, Kelsey and Lizzy are my heroes!

Good prices, big portions and an awesome server. She was very patient with a large party with five small children. Excellent enchilada style burrito! Definitely a good stop for Mexican food at the beach.

Nice decor and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Chips and salsa and chips and guacamole were good. The fish taco was good though the rice was a bit salty. No alcohol but you can bring your own. Definitely recommend it

Friendly and good service…food was not good! Ordered buffalo shrimp for an appetizer…portion was ridiculously small, shrimp was overcooked, “buffalo sauce” was just plain hot sauce drenched the shrimp, dish was overpriced!! Moving on…Beef burrito for dinner…seasoning was too pungent, seasoning was way off! And they need to learn how to make/ fold their burritos…a flapped over tortilla is not a burrito! But Rice and beans were good and portion was fair for the price. Salsa was good, chips need to be home made…the place needs a bit more authenticity! However, the place was busy…? I will not be returning.

Great Mexican rice. This place is BYOB which means you can order a pitcher of Virginia margaritas mix and bring your own tequila and drink there. Interesting atmosphere. Server was very friendly.

Great eatery with pleasant outdoor seating and lots of nearby parking. The food absolutely exceeded expectations and the portion sizes were more than I expected. Our server was friendly and upbeat and really made us feel welcome!

Horrible food. We ordered fish tacos. It was not a taco but a half wrapped burrito that tasted like the bay. We also ordered the surf and turf burrito. The steak was raw and the scallops were not cooked either. It tasted like a mouthful of the ocean. The rice and beans that came with the meal were also not seasoned and flavorless. We asked the manager on duty what went wrong and she stated she has a new cook who does not know what they are doing. We will not be back here.
