I enjoyed every single cocktail I tried! My favorites were the Sonàmbula and the happy hour drinks. The food won’t blow you away but it is great quality and the flavors are authentic. Will definitely share this place with friends. Almost forgot to mention the warm, kind service!

Every time I’m in NYC this is one of my first stops. Absolutely amazing drinks, food and service. This last time Nick was our server and he was fantastic. Went above and beyond to ensure everything we ordered was perfect and even shared his broad knowledge and love for tequila. Highly recommend checking this gem out if you’re out and about in Brooklyn. Can’t wait to come back and check out their sister restaurant/bars next.

Top tier service! They have front & backyard outdoor seating that despite the heat, was nice. Highly recommend ordering the plantain/pernil dish, I’d say get two! It is the best thing I have ever had. Loved that they put the guacamole in the skin of the avocado. Also, appreciated their use of cans to hold the silverware, just brilliant! Will definitely be back w/ friends & family.

Great drinks and delicious food! I got the Second Soul to drink and the Poblano Relleno as my main. We all split some chips, guac and salsa. My boyfriend loved the fish tacos. Would love to come here more if we only lived a little bit closer. Definitely check it out if you’re looking for some tasty food and a chill vibe!

Go for the cocktails, stay for the food. Their bartenders’ reputations are well-deserved and the menu matches. The portions run small, especially for sharing appetizers with a group – I’d recommend ordering duplicates if you have more than four people.

Delicious brunch experience! We came right when they opened for brunch on Sunday. The server and bartender were very friendly. We got the Leyenda Bloody with mezcal (highly recommend, savory), the Kickstarter (wish for stronger coffee flavor), Honeydew gazpacho (super good and refreshing), Al Pastor tacos (delicious) and pupusas with chicharrones (good, but wouldn’t order again). We’re definitely coming back and bringing more friends!!!

Cozy spot with a nice vibe. Good quality ingredients are used in the food, salsa and lime wedges are generous. Their specialty cocktails are delicious (and priced the same as the usual suspects) so there’s no reason not to try them. My favorite was the Sonàmbula. Staff was super friendly and attentive, too.

Had an excelled dinner at Leyenda with my wife on a Friday night. The steak was amazing and we really enjoyed the guacamole and salsa. However, the churros were the star of the show! Just FYI the restaurant is not accepting gift cards purchased through square.
