Fitting location for a barbeque joint downtown. The people are great. We were sat quickly and drink orders came fast. We knew what appetizers we wanted and they were brought out fast as well. Deviled eggs are amazing. There was no pressure for us to decide on our main courses, and it felt great to be able to relax a bit. Granted we showed up at 5:30 and it didn’t get packed until a little later. Brisket is tender and moist, pork ribs almost fall off the bone. Spicy sausage is rocking. The brisket queso is good, but maybe not the best in town. Definitely worth more visits.

The food reflects the community…electric and vibrant! The restaurant is nestled in downtown round rock and sits in the heart of the city. This is definitely a MUST TRY and not like any other barbecue restaurant on your culinary bucket-list. The staff was polite, professional, and friendly but still knew how to have fun. This is by far one of the best places for family and friends!

Awesome place! Great food and nice selection of local beer!! Brisket, Sausage, and Pulled Pork (3 Meat Plate) and sides were delicious. Enough food for 2 people to share. Service was great, staff was attentive, and will definitely go back again. Highly recommend and I hope your experience is as good as ours.

I’ve had it to-go and dine-in: recommend eating here instead of taking home, to enjoy the preparation and old-town Round Rock vibe. Deviled eggs with bacon jam are unique and fun. Brisket had an extra crispy bark. Pricey like all top tier barbecue places in Central Texas, but worth a visit.

$8.50 for 6 deviled eggs seems like lunacy, until you try them. Hands down one of the best deviled eggs I’ve ever had!

This place was great, great food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. The only thing I would recommend is to maybe have some physical menus for those who may not want to use the QR code for the menu. Besides that, everything was awesome.

Liberty BBQ has good food but is only getting 4 stars because the server was rude. The bartender was friendly (I forget her name) but the server, dismissive. The jalapeño cheese curds were great and crispy. The pork ribs were tasty. The banana pudding wasn’t the best. The prices were a little steep. Good spot in downtown Round Rock.

BBQ is extremely dry. Ordered a three meat plate. Pork ribs, brisket and mild sausage. They were out of chicken at 2:15 pm on a Wednesday. The bbq lacked moisture. It was so dry. The green beans were over cooked. The Mac & cheese was decent, a velvetta type of Mac and cheese. The banana pudding was the star of the show. It was delicious. Fresh bananas. Moist cookies on the inside. I still feel the bbq was a waste of $30. The service wasn’t stellar. The waiter rushed us and had no personality. I like the counter service type of bbq place better where you can see your bbq being plated. The sit and order at this place I feel like took away the experience of Texas bbq. Highly disappointing.

Meh! The standard for me is Millers barbecue and although tasty the food was cold. We sent back but came back at the same temp. It was quick service and super great atmosphere but overall the bbq was underwhelming for the price.

The service was good and it didn’t take long to prepare our meal. The trash fries are plentiful but the ribs were smaller than we thought. The food had a touch of seasoning which didn’t make the food bad, but a little above average. The ambiance give you a feeling as if you were home. I would give Liberty Barbecue another chance.
