My fiance and I split our meals but THIS was my portion. I drove 2 1/2 hours to visit this hidden gem and I was not disappointed! The sauce was perfect, smokey sweet and smooth. The ribs were tender, meaty and slow cooked, deep rich flavor of smokey char.. the Mac and cheese was cheesy, tender and flavorful. The Hush puppies and fries were prepared perfectly. Crisp and hot, tender on the inside… This was the perfect kick off to start my summer and is now my FAVORITE rib shack!

First off, The sauce, taste and tenderness of the ribs were really good. HOWEVER, they advertise racks of ribs, but I received bones. I was disappointed because I paid $14 for a half slab, which is more than I usually pay in the area for actual half slabs. However, the owner contacted me right back after a fb review & offered to replace my order & refund my money. He also said that he serves Louisiana style ribs, which I still haven’t checked into what the differences is, nor did I see this written anywhere that I saw, for those of us that do not know the difference.

Food is great. Prices are reasonable. I have tried the 2-piece chicken and the ribs. Thinking about fish next time. I heard they are opening one in Campbell also.

This place is good. Very hard to find a good BBQ spot since I moved here from Cali. They are accommodating to me at least bcuz I can’t have bbq sauce do to food allergies and heart failure. Went back two days in a row. The ribs are good just wish they had a lil more meat on they but all around good place.
