Tried their ribs and collard greens today at the farmers market. The ribs was ok.. the greens was terrible. Under cooked no seasoning. The greens was very raw! Never again. They wasn’t even canned cooked green, they had to be frozen cut greens prior to cooking. Terrible straight into the trash. They don’t even have dinner options, everything has to be bought separately. $16 for 4 pieces of ribs! $6 per side. Expensive they also give away “free” lemonade that’s very sweet. Very exposed and terrible food. Owner herself seems nice but food not worth it. So upset about them greens.

I don’t know what most are talking about here. They probably love the boiled, flavorless ribs at Fanigans. I had the Lickie Stickie’s Ribs for the first time this weekend. Ordered a full Rack for $37. Reasonable because of the cost of food now a days. I’ve paid more at other places. I must say, these are the best ribs I’ve had. Flavorful, tender but for fall off the bone like a competition rib. No sauce needed. The owner was nice. Mac was ok. The flavor on the jerk wings was perfect but they could have been meatier. Overall, 9/10 highly recommend.

Tried the chicken at the farmers market in Tamarac. It was so good! Ate it without the sauce – yes, chicken was cut up, which made it easier to eat for me. Meat was moist, and smoked to perfection. Going to let them smoke my Thanksgiving bird so I don’t mess it up! Will definitely be back!

I went to the farmers market today to support black owned businesses. I brought from a couple of businesses. Licki BBQ was one. I ordered the ribs for $16 and Mac and cheese for $6. The people representing the BBQ is very nice. Prior to getting into the car I tried a rib and man I could not stop eating the ribs. I mean I went IN while in the parking lot .mind you I had to remind myself there was BBQ sauce for the ribs. I am from Miami and these ribs give me straight Miami vibes. I received about 8 ribs, they were a decent size. Sauce was good also. Unfortunately The Mac and cheese tasted like it was straight from the box which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Im going back sooner than later, this time I’ll only stick to the meat menu! I do agree it’s pricy and they should offer combos but businesses have to do what they can to survive in this ever increasing market.

My order was ruined because I ordered a large order of wings and 1/4 of ribs. When I got home my wings was mixed with dry pieces of breast they probably didn’t have enough wings so added pieces of breast to make it up without my knowledge. The ribs was so salty my husband and I couldn’t eat them so everything went to the trash!

Today I am writing this review based solely on the food quality and taste. I have been a loyal customer with Juliette from back in front of Tubby days, however this food has got to be a waste of money. The brisket was so salty that I tried to tone it down by making a sauce with flour to take away that salty taste and it did not help. Also to add I’m not sure where she is getting the collard greens from but they were tasteless and appeared as if they were frozen to pot greens. I wound up throwing the entire order in the trash because driving back to the market on Southgate & University would have been a waste of time arguing with the rude lady,(name started with T). It’s a shame we try to give our local markets business by purchasing (not cheap) and they cannot get it right. A learning lesson for future!

I bought a rack of ribs and they were over priced and they didn’t taste good. Unless you like your ribs tough and dried out from being over cooked. The sides were sub-par also. Collard greens taste like they were from the can and they put more collard green juice in the container than actual greens. SMH

Easily the worst bbq I’ve ever had. You can get a better bbq experience at Arby’s and for 1/10th of the price. Extremely overpriced and underwhelming. Brisket was probably boiled; had no smoke, very tough, no flavor. Ribs were too salty to even consume. Spent about $60 for brisket, 1/4 rack ribs, & 2 sides – all straight in the trash. What a mistake.

Got ribs, chicken, and brisket from the farmers market today. Apparently half a chicken means chopped up pieces of dark meat. Ribs were horrible. Everything was chopped in excess. Would give zero stars if we could.
