Was told to arrive at 7:15 to pick up food… waited 30min extra. We had a pasta dish and 3 salads. What took so long??? Then got home and found a hair in the pasta . You lost a previously loyal customer.

The staff was very kind and welcoming, for that I gave two stars, but my chicken parmesan dish came out with a hair on it. I took a photo of it before it was sent back, and the food was clearly just scraped onto a new dish and reheated. The chicken was identical. Horrible health safety hazard, and a very rude move from the kitchen staff. Disgusting, and I will not be going back. Before and after photos below.

We got takeout from Lidia’s last week and were extremely disappointed with our experience. We ordered a steak and cheese sub, the lobster ravioli, and a Caesar salad. We got home to realize the Caesar salad had not been included, but we had been charged for it. (The ravioli came with a small side salad, which we did receive, but we had also ordered an additional full size salad).

We love this place! We have yet to have a bad dish there. So far our favorites are the spaghetti and meatballs and the Greek spaghetti. Two “simple” dishes packed with tons of flavor. Great staff, super friendly, very clean – this is a hidden little gem in the Atlee shopping center!

This is a hidden gem in Mechanicsville. We got the Caprese salad, and it was both fresh and tasty. I had the Chicken Marsala and my son had the Lidia’s Special, baked ziti with meat sauce and ricotta cheese. Both dishes were very big portions and tasted fantastic. They do a lot of takeout, so we ate in the dining room and had a nice quiet meal. There are very few places here in Mechanicsville to get a good meal, so put this one on your list!

Good service, nice selection of food. However my Italian sub was lacking some flavor. Needed some Italian seasoning, maybe some deli sub dressing. Had gobs of mayo. Will go back and try something else.

Good food, good prices, good service. We ordered a calzone, and it was giant, 2 people could have split it, so much food and such a price. The calamari appetizer was really good too, loved the marinara on the side. I also had the linguine with marinara and it was really good.

It’s my 3rd time eating here, the food was very good, they don’t have tons of choices, but It all tastes homemade. I would recommend anything really. They have a small wine and beer list, but again they are all very good! This is a great place for a date night or a family dinner!
