I always drive by this place and decided to give this place a try. I always liked trying a hole in the wall joint. Usually the food is good. I think they are still recovering from covid. The doors were locked with a note to ring the doorbell of you wish to dobe in. So not very welcoming. When you enter, it’s like you traveled back to the 70’s. The furniture, the plates. I ordered the fried rice and my son ordered the pork lo mein. Food was good. Could taste the char in my fried rice which is the key to a good fried rice. The lo mein was average but big portion. They do charge $1.00 for credit card transaction so be sure to have cash if you want to avoid this.

I havent been here in ages and I am so glad I finally stopped back for a to-go. My beef Pho, egg rolls and chicken fried rice were tremendous! Never thought I could even think, can chicken fried rice have too much chicken? NOPE, and wow, the amount of succulent white chicken chunks was amazing!

Slow service, the cilantro with my pho was all wilted. Just regular spoon and fork, water glass has seed or something stuck to the inside

Delicious shrimp with pea pods was almost a Mongolian flavored sauce, loved it. Food was hot , service was excellent! Egg rolls, cream cheese wontons were both yummy. Highly recommend. Prices were very reasonable.

If you want authentic bun bo hue. Stay away. The bun bo hue is basically pho with different noodles and a red tint on the broth. The broth itself is still bland.

My experience eating at Lien Son was a bit awkward, but the food was great! I stopped in with a friend for lunch, and we were a bit confused when arriving at which door to go in, and were waved towards a table quickly once inside. The dining room area was closed but there were a few tables in the main room with a few other guests. The combination plate that I ordered had a charred taste to the fried rice, and the plate was almost overflowing with the sauce of the main dish but it worked great with the chicken and broccoli. The egg roll was the star of the meal with it’s nice dense filling and amazing flavor.

Always drove by this place and wanted to check it out; very glad I did. I ordered the chicken banh mi and egg soup. They were both incredible and healthily portioned. Very short wait time, great service and amazing food at a very affordable price. Doesn’t get much better than that! Highly recommended.
