I reallyyy wanted to like this place, but… We went on a Sunday afternoon and had the cheeseburger and the Texas hotdog (both ok). The food was priced fair, $12, $11 with 2 fries at an extra cost. The drink prices were decent (given the bartender didn’t have a “heavy” hand). HOWEVER, I am completely disturbed by this “delivery fee” for a dine-in tab. It’s a whopping 25% of our bill. No one told us about it and I had to ask several follow up questions before the staff admitted that this is an automatic gratuity. I’m sorry but the service was not deserving of a 25% tip! It wasn’t terrible but to give customers no choice and no warning is petty theft. It has potential but smoking is permitted at a place where kids and pets are welcome. Parking sucks as with most places on Greenville Ave. I will not be back, ever.

New ownership means way better service! My partner and I last went to LG Taps before the switch to Life’s Good Bar & Grill and I found something dirty floating in my glass. We decided to give this place another try, however, after reading new reviews and we feel glad that we did! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere makes for the perfect neighborhood bar.

My husband found this bar and grill on social media. We thought we were going to more of a restaurant type setting only to find out that it was basically a bar. We had our kids with us and decided to stay and give it a try since the food reviews were so good. After experiencing for ourselves we both feel like the positive reviews are probably from friends of the owner. They made it seem like the burgers were really good. In all honesty, Whataburger was better in our opinion. There was nothing special about the burgers and the chef was very heavy handed on the black pepper. So all that to say, if you think you are going to a family friendly environment, please choose somewhere else to eat. To add to our disappointment they actually added a 25% gratuity charge which they call a service charge. P.S. My husband ordered the chili and he said it basically taste like Tabasco and ground meat…. We will not be back!

Firstly, I felt immediately welcome thanks to the friendly staff, every aspect of this establishment seems designed to make guests feel welcome. The menu hits all my “must-haves” for a bar, including a variety of burgers and their Texas-size hotdogs. The bar selection is great too with an impressive array of beverages. MY FAVORITE PART of the meal was actually the seasoning on the fries. **For me this can make or break a restaurant.** What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding service provided by attentive and knowledgeable staff. I came here with husband and kids, didn’t realize it was more of a bar environment but we still stayed and sat in the back patio area. It was a little lonely so we weren’t sure of the outcome, but we were wrong we all got burgers and they were delicious and the tots and fries as well. fyi the tots are not tater tots they’re more like home fries.

This place is, without a doubt, my favorite dive bar I have ever been to! The staff here were phenomenal, the drinks were great and reasonably priced (especially considering all the clubs surrounding them), the food truck they had serving as a fist kitchen was amazing as well. I was unfortunately only visiting Dallas, so I cannot frequent LG Taps as often as I would like, but if you find yourself in the area or are a local looking for a comfortable spot to call your home-bar, please give them a shot!

LOVE Life’s Good! Exactly what the neighborhood needed. A great bar with a super welcoming atmosphere. On top of that the best burger and wings I’ve had in a long time! The owner Calvin is awesome! He always checks in when he sees us there to make sure everything is perfect.
