We had an 11 top with 3 kids. We were seated in the upstairs dining area, by ourselves. Staff was very accommodating for the 2,4, and 6 year old. Food was a little pricy, but good. I ordered the daily catch, mahi mahi on a bed of large couscous and broccolini. I also ordered a side of Yukon gold potatoes with the thyme rosemary gravy on the side. (Special request) my fiance ordered the Smoked Chicken & Dumpling , Chicken Thigh | Dumplings | Vidalia Onion | English Peas | Sweet Corn | Thyme Velouté | Asiago Toast | Sauteed Brussels Sprouts with Onion & Honey.

We enjoyed the ceviche appetizer followed by scallops and pork chops. Good food on the high-priced range. Just across our room in Sanderling resort! Prompt and courteous staff compliment the setting. There is ample parking. Recommended when visiting Duck-Corolla area.

We ordered the same appetizers and the same entrees. Neither were made consistently. Both missing key ingredients advertised on the menu. The wait was long (not as long as the people next to us). The table was never cleared for any part as the menu appetizers and entrees were all sitting on the table for the full meal. There was confusion on who was going to serve us as well. Neither entree was even a quarter eaten (only reason why they were eaten at all is because we had not eaten for over eight hours). It is not the most expensive place I have eaten at, but for the price I did expect more.

Requested takeout pork chop and burger “very well done, burn it if you must but no pink” and a dessert. Told 20 minutes. 45 minutes later I returned to find that they had all of it but the ice cream, so they hadn’t reached out to us. They didn’t have vanilla. I said they could do chocolate and got my food. The fries were soft and rubbery from sitting, the burger was cool from sitting and PINK in the middle.

WOW, we’ve had an incredible meal here. The food is very delicious and we would come back here in an instant. The food is comforting, flavourful but not heavy, greasy or salty. Absolutely recommend trying the Fried chicken, calamari and the scallops, but I’m sure the rest of the food is just as delicious. Bon appetit!

I took my wife and daughter here for lunch after arriving in the Outer Banks. Probably the best service we’ve ever experienced. The waitress was extremely attentive and fast, not to mention unbelievably polite! The food was amazing and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. I highly recommend this restaurant, we’re here for two weeks so we’ll definitely be going back!

Way over priced for the quality. I recommend going to town if you want to eat. Staff was amazing so helpful and friendly. They probably were thr best part. For dinner expect to pay around $20-40 and breakfast $15-25.

I went here this past weekend for brunch, and the service was terrible. My friend and I went with my baby – we were sat immediately, but no one came to our table even to fill our water glasses for 20 minutes after we’d been sat. I said something finally when the host came over to pour water, and she got the server to come by for the first time 10 minutes later to take our order (so 30 minutes after we were sat). It was literally the only time we saw him the whole meal. We ordered a ham and cheese omelet and the yogurt bowl with fruit and granola,, and it took another 30 minutes to get our food, which was once again brought out by the host. No apology or anything for the wait. I had to go ask the host behind the bar for our check since the server never came back to our table. The restaurant wasn’t even full, and they didn’t seem to care at all about the slow service. The food was good but would not go back due to the service we received.

2017-06-08 the waitress (Sabrina) was very nice and the breakfast was amazing! The sausage, grits, sunny side eggs, poached eggs, pancakes, bacon, wheat toast, biscuits, butter etc… tasted really good!
