I really enjoyed the linguine and clam sauce, was loaded with clams. It was a bit salty for my taste but I still took it down. The steak my friend had was incredible, she said. Get there early if you want the prime rib, I here it’s great, it sold out before we arrived at 7pm.

One disappointment was my wife and I brought my mom before she died about 7 yrs ago to the tavern many Saturdays. The raw bar was fantastic. 75 cent lg shrimp and 50 cent fresh shucked clams. I understand inflation, but 7 yrs later the shrimp are 3 bucks a piece and claims $ 1.50. Ouch. We got a burger and fries which are always fantastic!! My theory is sell more at a less profit which insures the shrimp and clams are being rotated and are always fresh and the patrons come more often to drink, eat and be merry!! My opinion only!

Sorry, I’ve been coming to the lighthouse for over 20 years. The servers are delightful but the food is awful. There is no quality to the food. The chef needs a course in how to create a Ruben sandwich it was burnt and not edible (taken off the bill when we complained). Steak sandwich came out with a burnt (black) roll, sent back… cajun fries are regular fries with a small container of a hot dip to dunk each fry in? Too bad, I wanted this to work, but it’s not the only time we were very disappointed. But it is the last.

This place is a bar that happens to serve food. The piped in music was very loud and all over the place. Food was generally OK. No drink menu, server had no clue when asked questions about what was available. Probably won’t go back, too many other places that are better.

10/10 experience this weekend. First I’ll say the food is ALWAYS great every time we go and this place has the best staff you could ask for. Sunday, there was a large crowd of Motorcyclists that came to eat and someone from the kitchen staff called out. Jim, the owner, came out and greeted everyone and explain the wait time would be a little longer because it was only him and one other cook back there on the line. Let me tell you, they were cranking out apps and entrees. The food was unbelievable and shout out to the staff who worked their tail off. Great experience.
