If you’re traveling through Louisiana away from the coast and wishing for some of that great spicy Louisiana cooking walk through the doors at “Little Cajun House” the smell is awesome makes you want to order the whole menu. They have a great selection of poor boys which is their speciality and if you’re wondering about the seasoning your mouth can’t stop watering from the smell while you’re ordering so five stars guys great service cool relaxing eating area and good Southern la music in the background. You don’t have to be on the coast to get some of that good Louisiana cooking

Delicious food. Tons of options in immediate area, this is at top of list. Great atmosphere. They have great daily special items and drink variety. Prices are fair. Location in shopping center can be easy to miss if new to the area.

Hard to find, but worth it! My husband said it was the best po’ boy he’s had in a while. I had the half-muffeletta and it was delicious (and huge). Everything served on wonderfully fresh bread. Even the salad was done right (not iceberg).

The food was delicious! The owner was so wonderful!! This is a true Cajun food restaurant, however she did have other entrees. The jambalaya is awesome as is the boudin. The shrimp jambalaya quesadilla was awesome! We highly recommend this as a stop when in Alexandria Louisiana.

My daughter and I were traveling back to Oklahoma and wanted to have some good Cajun food before we left Louisiana. She read the reviews and menus while driving and picked this place because of the info, plus its location along our route. Everything we had was wonderful! The fried shrimp were so fresh and lightly battered. We had many different items and all were great. Plus, the workers were also delightful to talk to. Stop in, you will not be disappointed.

Do not! I repeat do not come to this establishment. Management should be ashamed of todays event. We came here at 1pm today and didn’t get our food until 1:40. There was one order in front of us and we order the basket fish and shrimp! Wife order the maffelletta. Looked good but wasn’t and the breading was salty on the seafood. Ordered sweet tea and received the unsweet tea. This was ridiculous and we will definitely not go there ever again. I recommend that management actually spend time there and fix this ASAP.
