Wanted to try this place during my stay so my wife and I ordered the fish & chips with the clam chowder bread bowl. The fish tasted so fresh and fried perfectly. The chips (fries) were so good they were good when they turned cold after taking the left overs to go. The clam chowder was pretty tasty, a little different recipe then normal but a nice difference. The bread bowl was amazing. I would definitely visit again.

Came here after a day of fishing for cod, got the clam chowder in a bread bowl and some of their salt water taffy. Was pretty good, the clam chowder had A LOT of celery, even another buddy was commenting about it but it was still good.

The food is absolutely garbage here. Ordered two fish tacos which were mediocre and shrimp cocktail which didn’t look like cocktail at all. The cocktail tasted like it wasn’t seasoned at all, no flavor to it but the flavor of basic cooked chrimp, no tomatoes, no avocado, no crackers, basically a tasteless cup of shrimp! Let’s not forget pricey!! Don’t recommend this place at all!

Waited 40 minutes for a simple to-go order of fish & chips and a cup of soup for the girl behind the counter to say, “oh sorry, let me get that”. Obviously our ticket was tossed in the trash because our buzzer never went off. 10 minutes later we were handed cold food on a tray with no bag and no “to-go” about it.

I’ve been going to this place for about 20 years. Love their fish. But I had one bad experience last week when I was on vacation. We placed an $200 order and they gave it to some other customer. But they did work with us to get the order resolved. Plus they apologized and gave us extra items. Well pleased with their customer service.

This place got me at squid and chips. Tasty foods. Refill on your drink, just ask. Bonus, a free roaming cat in a t-shirt sweater stopped by my table. It smacked my toddler, but fun to see it.
