Good serving sizes. Good customer service. They actually answer the phone and greet you coming in the door. Food was good. We got our order 30 mins before they closed and everything was fresh. Food was still hot after a 20 min ride home. Soul rolls were good as was the peach cobbler. The Strawberry Lemonade cake slice was huge but not all that good. The pork chops were thick. Cabbage was good. We loved the cornbread. Mac could improve. We prefer macaroni noodles instead of penne. The Strawberry Lemonade drink was good but a little too much sugar. Their website could use some improvement. Some items are missing from their website menu. Website menu doesn’t even list sides. I had to call for sides. I wish they had more options to choose from and ability to place online orders. Good food and good experience. We’ll definitely return.

THE BEST RESTAURANT I HAVE BEEN TO THIS YEAR; HANDS DOWN!!!!!!! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. It was definitely a cafe atmosphere with the smooth and easy listening jazz!! The vibe was SUPERB! It was clean and NEAT and you can tell the owner put thought into the decorating of the cafe. It was comfortable, colorful and well put together. It wasn’t over the top but just right! The service was EXCELLENT!!!! It did my heart good as we were served by 3 young ladies and they were respectful, courteous, prompt, and attentive! Once we ordered we were served our food at the table. Thankfully they were allowing patrons to eat in. They brought our meal to us and condiments. Then we were hit with the food!!! IT WAS PERFECTLY SEASONED AND THE PRESENTATION WAS DELIGHTFUL!!!!! I cannot stand when my food is thrown together but my plate was neat and not messy!!!!! I didn’t have to add ANYTHING to it; no hot sauce or salt or pepper! The flavorings were MOUTH WATERING!!! The turkey wings were falling off the bone tender; the rice was well seasoned and the collards and cabbage was DA BOMB!!!! I don’t even like peach cobbler but theirs was DELICIOUS!!!! AND THE SOUL FOOD ROLLS?????!!!!! OOOOOMMMMMMGGGGG!!! YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY THEM!!! THEY NEED TO BE DOWNTOWN SOMEWHERE!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!!

Very unprofessional establishment. Just left here today (Sunday March 27, 2022) I walked in at 3:43pm waited in line only to be told @ 3:57pm, ” WE ARE OUT OF FOOD”. The cashier said this then continued with the customer ahead of me. She said this with no sympathy or apology. I heard good things about this place but will never return again. Please don’t waste your time or money here they are not organized nor professional.

The food is absolutely delicious. The portions are very generous. I can’t wait until they open Thursday so I can go back! My family loved the Turkey Wings I loved my shrimp and grits and the soul rolls are a must have. Oh and the peach cobbler is full of golden brown crust and made from scratch. I’m glad I found this jewel and it’s right in the neighborhood. Check them out!!

This is the best home cooked meal I’ve had in a long time. The catfish was well seasoned and the peach cobbler French toast melted in my mouth. Amazing customer service and ambiance.

Today I went in for the Soul Roll and OMG when I say it did not disappoint . Washed it down with a strawberry Lemonade and I was in heaven for the rest of the day. MUST TRY!!! All the young ladies working today were really kool and polite….Thank You

If you have anything bad to say about this place you need counseling, seriously! Foods good, portions are very well, people are nice and service is delightful. If you have a big family like mines this is the place to feed your family! Try it all. Everything is good! And they put turkey instead of pork in their greens. Thank you Jesus! Be careful though you might not be able to stop eateven if your full. OMG!
