This hole in the wall is truly a special staple of Costa Mesa and the last standing old school sandwich spot in the area. I highly recommend getting the hot pastrami sandwich with a side of the macaroni salad. I promise you will not be disappointed

Probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Meat to bun ratio is unmatched. They had my order ready before I even finished paying. Staff is nice and let their personalities shine through. Love that they support the community! Stepping into Lil’ Pickle is stepping into the history of Costa Mesa!

This sandwich shop is the perfect hole in the wall go to stop. Every time I’m craving a sandwich this is where I go! They have the best pastrami sandwich I have ever had. It’s juicy and all the toppings and mustard on it is amazing. I love to add banana peppers as well! The turkey breast is a great sandwich option too. The classic bread they have is soft and yummy. It’s a must try! You won’t regret it. Pricing is average. About the same as subway, but tastes way better. The staff is so friendly and welcoming! If you like orange bang definitely try it there! It’s awesome.

OMGOSH!!!!! The ABSOLUTELY BEST Pastrami I’ve ever had. My go to spot when I need to calm my Pastrami sandwich craving. The place is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The price is right and all the other sandwiches I’ve had here are amazing but Pastrami is my fav. Lil Pickle is almost 10 miles from me but I’ll happily trave that for a Pastrami.

It was better than expected but my friend told me it’s amazing! Especially the pickles. But honestly it wasn’t that amazing but definitely better than Subway. The pickles were normal nothing like what my friend described. Maybe I got the wrong sandwich? I’ll definitely try it again though. 2 more sandwiches I want to try. I’ll update my review upon my next visit.

This place is so gross. Nothing is fresh everything is just smart and final products. They claim bread is baked fresh but it did not taste fresh. I went in hoping for a great sandwich instead I go a few piece of meat, old shredded lettuce and shredded cheese of some sort. Would not recommend.
