If I could rate Lila’s 0 stars I would. We weren’t greeted when we walked in. We were the only customers in there. The waitress gave us our menus with a mad face, no hi, no nothing. They had a limited menu because the cooks didn’t feel like cooking certain things. When we told the waitress we were going to go ahead and just take our drinks to go and not order anything to eat she went to another table where other waitresses were sitting and we could hear them whispering about us. Before we left we saw that the napkins that the waitress placed on the table had blood on them. They didn’t apologize for anything. If you’re a female don’t go to Lila’s. The waitresses are only happy to serve men.

So Lilas is the restaurant we go to when we are in Corpus Christi. Today as we walked in there was a sign that read prices subject to change at any time and they weren’t lying. Ask for the price because the price on the menu isn’t correct.

The food here was pretty good. Our waitress was phenomenal. It was kind of crazy, but she actually held our baby while my wife ate. It wasn’t threatening or anything, just really sweet.

Every time I come to town I try and stop here for breakfast as it is the same as it has always been with great food and an extremely nice owner and staff. Food was perfectly prepared and freshly made to order. Tortillas warm and homemade so what else has to be said. Look forward to the next visit.

I used to eat here quite often with a coworker years ago I don’trememberit as good or bad. But this was a terrible meal. I ordered a Migas plate with a pancake side. Potatoes were fried too long, almost burned. The beans were dark and looked old and too salty. The Migas arrived with cheese from a can drizzled over them. I didn’t ask for cheese. The server was nice, the menu was not. I couldnt eat most of the food. So effectively, I had an $8 plain pancake. Last dollar I’ll spend here…..

We had tacos, and they were the smallest tacos I have ever eaten. It took an hour and ten minutes to get 4 chorizo and egg tacos. Most of the tables were dirty and couldn’t get any napkins, the employees had no hair nets. My husband asked for a glass of tea and couldn’t get it, the lady said we can’t make tea because of the water boil, but they were serving coffee. Never going to this place again. Maybe kitchen cops should check this place out.
