Amazing food, great decor, at a very quaint historical house next to a lake with great porch and views. There are dining rooms and a bar, all with great atmosphere. Staff is super friendly and efficient. Great drinks list too

Go there! Don’t miss this amazing restaurant. This place is a GEM! Fresh, beautifully crafted seasonal dishes were incredibly delectable. The atmosphere of the renovated 1812 home is clean but warm with tasteful artist touches. Our server, Latesha was, for a lack of a better word, PERFECT. Her sweet personality blended with her professionalism made for a delightful experience. The homemade chocolate cake was ridiculously delicious and the wine and spirits selection hit just right with us. We will absolutely be back the next time we’re in town and will ask for Latesha!

Beautifully restored home with great food and a touch of class. For apps we had the pork belly lettuce wraps and for dinner we had the schnitzel and chicken (no pictures as we both devoured it). . Drinks were great too. We moved to the lounge for dessert and enjoyed nice conversation with patrons and staff. Can’t wait to return when it’s warm and enjoy the outdoor area. Even though they’ve only been open six months, it didn’t feel that way. Great job by the staff!

Perfectly prepared “normal” food with style and substance. Wanted a fresh and interesting meal, and Limewater was recommended by two different people.

Such an amazingly beautiful location alongside the Kentucky River!! The décor inside is exquisite and speaks to the history of the home. Perfect location to host an array of events. We had the spicy sausage and ricotta gnocchi and the Limewater cocktail. The gnocchi was very flavorful and the cocktail was exceptionally refreshing. I will definitely return when my family visits later this month. An absolute must dining experience when you visit Frankfort.

The lime water house cocktail is FANTASTIC ! The staff is knowledgeable, kind and attentive as well. The food is local and everything home made from the dressing, sauces, and baked goods; and it really shows. 100% recommended for date night or lunch with friends.

Tonight was the first time this restaurant showed up in Google maps and though I wasn’t dressed that well I went anyway. Happy choice! The setting in Glenn Willis historic mansion beside the river is beautiful. The decor is simple and elegant, and the food is superb. I started with the “Limewater” cocktail, then had the broccoli cheese soup, which was rich and scattered with scallions. The entree was a pork schnitzel done “jaegerschnitzel” style with mushroom gravy, very small dumplings and red cabbage that would have passed muster in the restaurants I loved in Germany. The wine was a pinot noir that was very good, not heavy, not fruity. I finished with a cup of strong black coffee and the Blondie tart topped with bourbon whipped cream. Very rich, very nice! It was a superb meal in a beautiful old home, one complimenting the other.
