I came from Waco for an in and out occasion and looked for a taco place nearby, this was one of the results. It was not the most rated, but had good reviews. Honestly, we were not disappointed the least, very delicious . I got the empanadas with chicken and side of beans, the empanadas had mashed potatoes inside as well. My friend had a chicken torta, even though she modified it a bit for medical reasons, she said it was very delicious. Good service, place was clean, even had the Avatar on the TV, no loud comottion inside from customers or employees.

Loved it here! 4 options for tacos, we tried al pastor, cochinita pibil and carne asada (they also have tripe). Really enjoyed all the tacos and would get them again but the cochinita was my favorite, great flavor and juicy, tender meat. Also got an order of the picaditas (5 for $15), each came with a different topping, the rojo salsa was the favorite followed by the mole sauce and cochinita, then the black been/queso and then the verde salsa. But you can’t order just one picadita, you can only get the variety platter but I enjoyed the different flavors. I very much enjoy ordering picaditas on the beach in Mexico topped with black beans and queso, it’s my favorite snack and you can get like 3 or 4 of them for like 30 pesos (aka $1.50), but for not being in Mexico, I enjoyed the ones here.

Absolutely delicious! My mom was raving about the Veracruz mole dish. We had everything from menudo to tacos to enchiladas. They are a small restaurant, so be patient. They have one large 8person table and the rest are booths. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Parking is small because it’s a tiny business strip, so may have to street park. Definitely give them your business!

I had been dying to try this place for like 8 months, and recently I finally got the chance to stop by their West Dallas location. I first want to say this is not a Tex-Mex restaurant nor is it your typical authentic Mexican food restaurant or taco spot. Limon’s specializes in AUTHENTIC street food from Veracruz. The 2nd thing I want to say is it’s going to take me multiple trips and multiple posts to truly showcase this place. It’s that good. Literally almost every single thing on their menu is post worthy, and I truly mean that. It might be my new favorite Mexican spot. If you can’t take my word for it, Dallas Observer named them one of the 100 must try restaurants of 2020 and one of the top 50 restaurants. Their empanadas are rated #1 on Yelp Dallas!

Amazing. The torta has to be one of the best in Dallas and the fried banana dessert was delicious. Food here is Veracruz style with just the right amount of spiciness

This place is a small hole in the wall. The food was excellent, and the side salsa… Be careful because they’ll burn you. Not in a bad way, but heat wise hotter than mild but not “spicy hot” where you’ll be reaching for a glass of milk. I’m now tempted to go for breakfast this weekend.

10/27/17 I like their tamales, and food is tasty but they increased the cost too much. Tamales $1.99 each. When we first came they were $1.59
