Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did! Went inside and ordered carryout-sweet and sour pork dinner which came with chicken fried rice and an egg roll plus 6 almond cookies. The pork was so tender with just the right amount of batter. The sauce was separate, had a few chunks of pineapple, onion and green pepper. Had a nice sweet taste but thinner than other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. The fried rice had pieces of chicken, mostly rice. However the portions were huge! I had some for dinner with enough leftover for 2 more meals. The cookies were very good as well. The restaurant is quite large, with plenty of seating, big booths and tables. The employee was very friendly, greeting me as I walked in even though he was on the phone taking another order. I will definitely be back to try some other dishes.

Was in the area and had a craving for some Chinese food and I’m so glad we found this hidden gem! I love that they have Cantonese dishes. We got the pork fried rice, salt and pepper shrimp, and Mongolian beef. Everything tasted delicious plus they had very generous portion sizes! We were so hungry I forgot to take pictures before we ate, but we loved the salt and pepper shrimp so much that we had to order another plate so we could have left overs to take home

Ordered the almond chicken. Chicken was high quality white meat breast. Excellent version of this local favorite. Portion size was generous with enough for at least 2-3 servings. Enjoy dimmed & relaxing environment. Our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.

Happened on this gem of restaurant and we are so glad we did! Met Tim whose family took over Lim’s Star about 3 months ago. He took amazing care of us from greeting us warmly, to making great recommendations, and giving us exceptional service ! He shared that they now only use fresh vegetables and the family recipes are much lighter preparations. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The ambiance is very old school Chinese restaurant but very clean. Definitely would recommend this to family and friends!

The food is absolutely amazing!!(I get the cashew chicken, shrimp fried rice, and wonton soup every time) and the portions are enough for 2 meals! It’s a very nice atmosphere, it’s a clean and friendly environment. Tim always hooks us up and never disappoints with his amazing customer service!! Definitely a regular and definitely recommend!!
