We have been here before this past visit on Saturday, etc. We arrived about 5 pm or so for dinner. Daughter ordered a burger, hubby ordered an omelette and I ordered the fish dinner. Service was ok, kind of felt rushed by waitress wanting to take our order, maybe she was new, etc. I asked for dinner rolls that they usually bring out in the basket with crackers when you order a dinner, like I had but was informed by the waitress that they were “out of dinner rolls”. ( It was the start of the dinner time basically when we were there and it wasn’t that busy,etc). There were 2 other booths with people besides us there in the dining room at the time. We would have liked another cup of coffee. The fish dinner was plentiful, tasted good, and arrived hot.

The food here is always good, at any time of day. I’m usually only there for breakfast, but you can actually order breakfast items all day! Service is always “served with a smile”. The waitresses are great, tip them well . The building could use some upgrades, inside and out. That would be my only concern for improvement.

This was a pleasant surprise! Nice diner, great service, and good food. I had shrimp from the senior menu, comes with choices of fries, hash browns baked potato, cottage cheese, salad, etc… and a veggie. All of it was good and only $10.95! My husband had the walleye sandwich and it was 2 big pieces of walleye, bigger than bun for sure. They have a kid’s menu also. Relaxed atmosphere.

Being a ridiculous person, I order hashbrowns with grilled onions and gyro lamb meat. They made it. Prices and food quality are pre 2022 increases. Would give 5 stars but no eggs Benedict. Imagine that with gyro meat instead of ham… not on them. I am just a ridiculous person.

Very friendly staff and very affordable. Had a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, sausage and French bread for the bun. Cost was around 6 dollars! I can’t think of another place in America I’ve been to with that kind of value.
