We are ” foodies ” ! That is to say the wife and I know good food , cook good food . We had a catering business and my Uncle had been in the restaurant business in Rome for over 40 years with several restaurants including ” The Feed Mill “. I am a very impatient man when it comes to having to wait for a while to be seated in a restaurant . Only to be disappointed when the food arrives. I am ecstatic to say that Linde Marie’s lived up to the hype. There was about a 40 minute wait but that is because of how popular this little restaurant is due to its food. We had the Shrimp & Grit Cakes for an appetizer . The shrimp was overcooked because it was an O and not a C , so it was a little springy but this happens easily. However they were delicious ! Only a foodie like me would have even noticed the shrimp anyway. The baked potato was cooked perfect and then there was the steak which was the star of the show. There is only one way to prepare a steak for the wife and I . That is blackened and cooked to medium rare. You wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to find restaurants that are capable of that these days. Maybe you do. Our steaks were cooked properly and the seasoning was delicious ! The outside had crosshatched grill marks and it was also very juicy. You can only get flavor like this from quality meat folks. I can honestly say I will go nowhere else in my area for a steak. Went to Linde Marie’s Steakhouse based on reviews and ordered a 12 oz. ribeye. It was cooked just like I asked, medium rare and had a great taste. Very disappointed as I left hungry because there was more gristle and fat than steak. The potato was baked to perfection. The broccoli was very bland. Not sure I will go back, but if I do, I will definitely not order a steak.

Great place! We were pleasantly Surprised at how good the food was here. It is hard to find a decent steak anywhere these days, this is among the best I’ve had in this area. Service was great and the restaurant is very nice. Cave Springs is a pretty town, although rather small. Well worth the trip, highly recommend!

Great little gem in small town. Rib eye steaks are by far best I’ve had compared to big chain restaurant. Service is very good. Sometimes there is a wait but it is worth it.

A long wait on Friday night but it was definitely worth it. The service was amazing, the appetizers awesome, and the steaks best I have had at any price. Fried shrimp and grits hard to beat.

We have eaten here several times and 5 stars was not enough. However, the new host at the front was very rude and upset my evening. The 3 star atmosphere reflects the host’s ability to deal with people. The food is wonderful and so was the table service.

This was a big surprise finding a great steak house in a small town. Sandra had the filet mignon and I had the ribeye. Both were cooked to medium rare and were very good. Sandra’s filet melted in your mouth and was so good. My steak was grilled to perfection with great taste. My only complaint was it had a little more fat than I like. Will be back soon I hope. It is a little pricey but worth it
