Interesting place! If you like German food this is the place to go if your in Peoria! Great selection of German Beers on tap. Kind of a family atmosphere with the way tables are set up which is inviting if your wanting to sit with other people and chat. Live according player started at 6 and was pretty good! Got In right after 5 so wasn’t a big crowd but slowly started filling up. Had a buffet with Beef Stew, Red Cabbage, Fried Chicken, Pork Lion, mashed potatoes and gravy and scalloped potatoes. Had salad and pies as well!

I’ve been getting carryouts occasionally and the food is always phenomenal. They always have a combo of 2-3 different types of meat which is great if there’s something you don’t like, and plenty of sides and salad. The staff is always kind. If you don’t feel like sitting inside you can still get about 2 meals worth of food in a carryout container so you’re not missing out.

We came to Peoria on a Sunday, spontaneously looking for things to do and heard about the Winterfest at The Lindenhof. A rare event that happens there once a year. The food is fantastic. It’s a nice relaxed atmosphere with festive German decor.
